Again, excellent consistency. Like the South Common location, this location does a great job with quick and friendly service... with very good sushi. My 10th time to this location, always very good. Manager is also very attentive to all patrons. Read more

I usually get sushi from here and always top class but today they were extremely busy with dine in and skip . so I think my $100... order was sacrificed by poor food quality . Hence we need more proper sushi restaurants in Edmonton . They use real crab and Ilove that but this time eating sushi with real crab was like eating a soggy sock ! Very tasteless . First time trying Mikado. It was truly wonderful. Very clean and well laid out restaurant. Staff was super friendly and fast.... Very rare to see a Japanese restaurant with such a huge vegetarian menu. Food looked excellent and tasted even better. Lots ofvariety. This will become a new favorite place. Read more
I love Mikado for fresh sushi. They've been around for quite some time. Though they don't offer as many "fancier" modern... offerings like many new sushi shops that have opened over the last five years, they are still one of the highest quality sushirestaurants in town. The west end location is probably my favorite for atmosphere. But for some reason I still feel they're anotch below the South Common location for quality. Still, they're food is amazing and it's a great choice in the west end wherethere are not many Japanese sushi options. Read more
