Second time being here, both times ordered vegan Butter Chicken. First time was alright. Second and last time: terrible! Weirdly... sweet like Campbells tomato soup. No spices, not even garam masala detectable. Won?t go back. Whoever this new cook is they needto learn how to cook! Read more

Went in for some appetizers. We ordered Vegg samosas, dahi ballay and a chicken tikka wrap. Samosa stuffing had a really bad... smell as if it had gone bad and was used anyway. ( they didnt charge us for the samosas after we informed them). The dahi ballaywere below average. The chicken tikka wrap which tasted awful. It says its suppose to be an indian style wrap I dont know wherethey got that idea from but they should definitely discontinue those wraps. However, the customer service was good Read more

I just ordered a butter chicken combo through skip the dishes. I've eaten at the downtown location a few times but this is my... first time ordering here. The butter chicken is sweet to the point of being inedible. Almost tastes like ketchup is the base. Ihope this was a one time bad batch and not a new recipe. Probably won't chance ordering here again. Read more

This was the 3rd time I ordered from the 97st location and all 3 times the food was disgusting! Chicken that was dry dry and... too hard to chew and pickled turnips were in whole pieces. I love the food at the 124st location. The 97 st location sucks bigtime! If I could give it no stars I would. Read more

We called them a day in advance to prepare a meal that was extremely time sensitive due to an elderly family member being... admitted to hospital that day. Despite a few calls to reinforce this including hours before the pick-up, the food was not ready. After waiting for 25 minutes or more, we had to get a refund and leave. So everybody missed lunch, and an elderly lady was sentto hospital hungry. We will never return here again. Read more

I?ve been here nearly 4 times in less than 3 weeks and I am absolutely blown away by this restaurant. The food is 100% worth it.... You get more than what you pay for (portion & taste). I HIGHLY recommend the GARLIC NAAN BREAD. It is a very light flavour. Evenby itself it is the most DELICIOUS!! I have tried their butter chicken combo (which took me a while to completely finish) thatcame with the chicken, rice, a little salad, the dessert, and chickpea. Everything on the platter satisfied my palette tosatiate (butter chicken + rice), refresh/cleanse (salad), and sweeten (dessert) I also recommend their chai beverages. Verysmooth, subtle, and light tasting. I?ve tried similar menus from similar restaurants, but something about this restauranttastes more authentic. I feel a true home-made vibe from it. The food doesn?t taste ?TOO good,? if you catch my drift. Goodenough to want more but not too good that it sickly overwhelms you. Will always love coming here to grab a snack or satisfy myhunger cravings. You won?t be disappointed! Read more
