Oh goodness, this place is amazing! Where to start...lovely beer selection, the vegan pink gorilla pizza tasted like an awesome... Reuben sandwich, and the owner and staff are all super friendly and helpful. Came in here with my wife for a date night on a Friday. The place had good vibes and really cool graffiti all over the... restaurant. We ordered the vegan poutine pizza and another vegan pizza. At first we were hesitant when we ordered the poutinepizza, but boy were we glad we did. Both pizzas were sooooo good!! Service was great and our appetite was satisfied. Willdefinitely be back. We absolutely loved having Pink Gorilla Pizzeria cater our wedding rehearsal dinner! All our guests were raving about the... Pizzas. Asking where the restaurant was in the city and what all the options were. Everyone was talking about the unique anddelicious flavors and variety available. Asking each other which one they were trying and which other one they were trying next.It actually became a great talking point for the guests and one that left everyone excited and smiling. We had guests from theUnited States talking about the pizza as well stating how great it was and hoping to grab more when they came back to visit.They were disappointed it was only available locally as they couldn't get the unique flavors back home. Not only were the Pizzasdelicious and appreciated, the guests were shocked at the size of the amazing chicken wings and the flavors of sauces thataccompanied them. The garlic Knots were also being talked about and the salad was really refreshing. The price for all of it wasalso greatly appreciated by my wife and I. Kara provided a variety of options to help us select an option that worked for therehearsal size were having with numerous appetizer options as well. The delivery was handled perfectly, right on time andeverything still hot. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Pink Gorilla Pizzeria's food, catering and staff. Theyare amazingly easy to talk to, work with, and we would recommend them to anyone looking for catering 11 out 10 is how we wouldrate it. They catered our wedding rehearsal!! Great local neighbourhood restaurant, a hidden gem that could be overlooked if it wasnt for the glorious pink gorilla painted on... the north side of the building! Have the roasted glazed brussel sprouts, they’re the bomb! Read more
This was our first time ordering from this local pizzeria. The toppings were impressive and abundant, the flavours were unique,... and the crust was really fluffy, and it was a great texture that we were not expecting. The small is a perfect size for 2people, and the larger was enough for 4 people. The wings were small, and we wouldn’t necessarily order them again for theprice we paid. We got the Pink Gorilla and the Tricksy Taco pizzas. We look forward to trying the other flavours one day! Read more
We arrived at Pink Gorilla by happenstance and we were glad we came across this gem. We're not from Edmonton and we had a... craving for some good pizza. We arrived in between busy times so it was nice to have the place to ourselves for a bit. Theatmosphere is funky/modern and made us feel hip just sitting there (yes, we're old)! The owner is lovely and was a multitaskingmachine, she went the extra mile and it was appreciated. Hubby had the New Generals pizza which has all the cheese flavors witha hint of pineapple zing on a regular crust. The crust was perfect with the right amount crispiness. The hubby was expecting abit more of a cheesy mess, however the flavours held up and he enjoyed it. I chose the Neymar and quite liked the local sausage.I would have preferred a bit more bacon, but overall it's a fresh tasting pizza that didn't leave me feeling like I had to rollout of there.
