This restaurant is a popular spot and for good reason. The ambiance is rustic and warm. Lots of space for large or small... gatherings. Love all the wood and wrought iron. Service is attentive and friendly. Everything was clean and well-kept. The foodwas good. I’d give it 4.5 stars if I could on account of the food. Not “wow” good, but most definitely fresh and good.(Maybe my standards are too high. But for the price…) I hear the chef’s menu is amazing. Tho I only tried a la carte. First time in Sabor Restaurant and you have to go if you love European style food and great service. Atmosphere is cool I felt... that I was eating in Lisbon. A friend of mine recommended this place and I was delighted . I ordered the Lamb chops, hubby askedthe Cod plate and my friend the catch of the day and lobster risotto. Every place was delicious and while we wait we asked forthe cured meat and cheese. An excellent choice as entre for us. Came for a party of 9. We booked ahead of time to make sure we get some seats. Our waiter is awesome. I wish I got his name. The... food is amazing. We got the Paella, lobster risotto, steak, lamb, meat and cheese board. 10/10. Will definitely come back fornext time Read more
Wonderful food with efficient service. The paella is a must here. The rice is so flavorful that you actually dont need the... seafood (which are also fresh and cooked to perfection). We took the recommendation and also ordered the mixed mushroom tapaswhich was amazing as a dipping for the bread. On a cool summer night, highly recommended to take a patio seat. Read more
Decided to try this place out. Very nice atmosphere and ample space. The service wasn’t great to start but did get better as... the meal went on. They kept asking to take our food order before asking if we would like a drink (twice). The place wasn’tbusy. We ordered the Three Boars and the Halibut and prawns meals. The grilled pork was cooked VERY thoroughly so it was hard tocut through and dry. The seafood meal was very plain. We enjoyed the desert. Our bill was in the $170 range. I felt I’ve had alot better meals elsewhere for $85. This place is not on my list of places to rush back to again. Read more
Had the most amazing experience. The waiter was super attentive and had great suggestions for food and wine pairings. We went... with the three course seafood dinner and everything was extremely delicious and amazing portions. Everything came out at a greatpace. We had a girls night at Sabor and loved the experience! It's been awhile since we've been out and about but glad we choose... here. For $65/person we had a fantastic seafood feast! Three seafood based appetizers, a lobster risotto followed by threeamazing deserts. We did bring my 4 year old daughter, so it is family oriented however a bit on the pricey side for an eveningout with the family. Would definitely recommend for a nice date night with hubby or a great meal with the gal pals. Our waiterwas a little bit on the quiet side and we are quite outgoing so there was a bit of a personality clash that brought theexperience down, however will still recommend to friends/family! Great atmosphere and food. We had the seafood dinner for 2 and it was delicious! Would have preferred a little more veges... incorporated as there almost no greens. And it felt a little heavy without any vegetables, but the seafood was amazingnonetheless! Also the wine recommendation was excellent! Read more
