If you don\'t tip, the staff will not fill complete order, that\'s what you get with penny pinching entitled staff at SFC... now.\nThis dish already costs 15:50 plus wait for delay.\nSee pictures for proof. 5 piece chicken, not even 5 pieces, justpathetic culture at this location.\n\nMake sure you check your take out, before going out of this location Read more

I\'ve come here 3 times. The service is slow compared to the Old Strathcona location. The first two times I ordered online to... pick up, and both times they don\'t make your food until you get there and check in at the till, making the online orderpointless as you still have to wait in line and wait for the food. The worst part is all 3 times, there\'s never anyone in lineto order, so it\'s not like they\'re so busy that they can\'t complete the order and have it ready.\n\nThe 3rd time (today), Ididn\'t bother ordering online, and my food came before the 5 others on the display screen which were online orders (again, because they wait for you to arrive). The order I got today had the kale salad flipped upside down.\n\nWith another local friedchicken place opening on the same block, they really need to step it up. People downtown, especially office workers, can\'t waitfor their pre-ordered and pre-paid food. Read more

A must try. Food is a good price. Been here a few times and the food is always hot and fresh. Great downtown take out option.

Super delicious! Chicken was juicy, the kimchi was awesome and was very well priced for what you get!

Finally got to visit the downtown location the other day for lunch. The decor is amazing and super fun. Chicken is, as always,... the best in town! I also got a side of fries and the kale Caesar salad but they were just alright and a little pricey for theportions. Ordered ahead of time through the website.\nThe only issue is that the website says to stay outside of theestablishment until I receive a text message. I came around the time I set for pickup and waited around outside for fifteenminutes and no text, so I went inside and realized there\'s a bold red text on the menu that says you have to check in forpickup orders, which was not mentioned in the website. So I think that needs to be updated. Also had to wait an extra tenminutes to get my order. I have an hour\'s lunch, so it didn\'t affect me as much. But if someone was pre-ordering because theyonly have a half or just on a short break, that would be problematic. I then received a text about my order while walking awayback to my office with my order in hand. ???? Read more

If you were to ask the question, what\'s the best fried chicken in the city (Edmonton), a majority of Edmontonians would point... their snow covered fingers to SFC. Thus you could imagine my joy, as a downtown resident, when I heard of an SFC opening just afew minutes away from my home. I finally got time to check it out, and needless to say, I wasn\'t disappointed. One thing manySFC veterans can agree on is the lack of spacing in their Old Strathcona location. This is not a problem anymore, as anexpensive seating area gives way to a lengthy ordering/wait area. The murals on the walls are magnificent, but I may be biasedas I have a certain affinity to the light blue. Atmosphere wise, SFC ticks all the boxes for a cool munchies spot.\nNow to thefood. Granted I have only indulged in one item, their classic Garlic Soy Chicken, but I was thoroughly satisfied. The word ofthe day is PORTIONS! For a mere $13.50, I picked up a 5 pc chicken set with a side of fries, salad and a pop. Now you mustremember, I was suffering the pangs of hunger that accompany a half smoked joint, so I fully expected to demolish the food thatwas in front of me. The size of the chicken and the weight of the fries had other ideas, as I could barely finish 3 piecesbefore I got full, and ended up saving the rest for next days lunch. One blemish I would put on this painting of excellence thatis SFC downtown, is that perhaps the chicken was not as Garlic-Soyey (yes I just invented a word there) as the same in the oldstrathcona location, but nothing to lose your mittens about... It is still good F\'n chicken!! So, I, conclude by saying, DTresidents are in for a valuable treat, a value for money treat, and a visually titillating dining experience. I can already seethe Instagram stories every two weeks of the giant samurai tiger (guilty). Enjoy ?? Read more
