Very delicious! For drinks, we ordered Mango Lassis. Wow. So fresh! We also ordered the Chana Masala Wrap and the Butter Chicken... Wrap, which were made with fresh naan. The naan was cooked at that moment specifically for our wraps and I honestly have neverhad naan that delicious before. The booths are super comfortable and the vibe is great. I would 100% recommend the Spice Grill! Read more

I asked for grilled chicken to which they recommended tandoori chicken. In my experience (having gone to countless Indian... restaurants), tandoori chicken is red and grilled. I got a white, fried chicken (very bland) with some sloppy salad and wascharged a ridiculous amount of $30. I would not recommend! Read more

Ordered momos, hakka noodles and tandoori chicken from this place late night. The estimated delivery time was about 65 minutes.... Longest I have ever seen. So I thought they must be busy or are prepping everything from scratch. Couldn't be more wrong. 1.Hakka Noodles - no flavor. Hardly any variety of veggies there. 2. Tandoori Chicken - Honestly, the worst I have ever had in mylife. Awfully dry and didn't even taste like a tandoori dish at all. The inside was still uncooked. 3. Momos - tastes greatuntil I realized it was undercooked. The dough was still uncooked at the top. The chef/cook has no idea what he is doing. Forthe momos, would probably say yes. But, stay far away from this place if you want to have tandoori chicken. Read more

This restaurant was the closest "halal" food place we found nearby our accomodation. When we arrived, we noticed this... "restaurant" is a little shack-in-the-wall in a sketchy hood. We were a little hesitant to go in but decided to give it a tryregardless. First thing we noticed was that they sell alcohol (weird for a halal restaurant). Our gut feeling was to just leavebut both the missus and I were hungry and this place was supposed to be open till midnight so we sat down for dine-in. There areonly three shabby, worn-out tables and seats and they were quite dirty. The lady (also the cook) took our order and brought uswater...glasses had stains, like they were not washed properly....another red flag. We would have felt guilty leaving withoutordering so we motored on and ordered just one dish (chicken tikka masala). We had to wait for a little bit because theowner/chef/server said she was going to cook the food fresh. While we were waiting, we had to endure the noisy cartoons that herkids were playing on a tablet seated at the next table. When the food finally arrived, it was sloppily arranged, and thepresentation was very ordinary. But we figured if the taste is good then (almost) all can be forgiven. But the fooddisappointed. It was not something you could compare with your naani or daadi's cooking~~heck, you could not even compare it toyour least skilled auntie's cooking. It lacked authenticity of taste, and was bland. The only reason I feel like giving itthree stars is because the lady had a friendly and polite attitude and she tried to do her best. Unfortunately, her best was notenough to make us eat there again. Spice Grill is one of my favorite places for food in Edmonton! I love their butter chicken and my roommate loves their chicken... maharaja. You can taste the love and expertise in their dishes! The naan is beautifully done every time, and the rice is supertasty as well. I just ordered butter chicken off of skip and the portion size is amazing. If you get the chance to go inyou’ll find that the staff are all friendly and really kind! Read more
