My husband and I were craving nachos tonight so we headed to brew house. Upon entering we were met with welcoming smiles and... friendly staff. Our server Kaitlyn was quick to offer up suggestions on drinks and food. She was very quick to get our drinksand nachos to our table and even have a small conversation with us. Came in on a Friday with a couple friends, and wow I was completely blown away from the service and food. Drinks were very tasty... (dangles) and the food was very appetizing Thank you to our waitress Kaitlyn who was very attentive and on point with ourorders. Our night out experience was awesome! and we will be back again. The service here was amazing. The staff were very quick to seat us as well as ask us if we were wanting to have beverages or... enjoy there wonderful food. The waitress was quick to ask us if we needed refills. They have both the Canadian Gold medalgame and UFC. I can't wait to come back here. Food was fine, but service was awful. Here was the timeline: 6:55 seated on patio by host; 7:10 waitress makes first appearance... on patio but does not acknowledge us; 7:20 waitress gives us menus but doesn't take drink orders; 7:30 waitress takes drink andfood orders; 7:40 received drinks; 7:55 received food; 8:15 received cheque; 8:24 card reader brought for payment. During ourlong waits for service I noticed a few things that might point to a managerial problem beyond inefficient wait staff. To set thescene, our area of the patio was not at all busy. There was a large party commanding the waitress's attention until they paid upand got on the football bus. After that it was nearly empty but attention from the waitress did not increase. Presumably she waslooking after tables inside most of the time and only made it out to the patio every 10 minutes or more. At the same time, theraised part of the patio (not our section) was being served by 2 waitresses who were constantly coming and going to look after 3or 4 occupied tables. Customers up there came in well after us and received their orders well before us. If our section wasassigned to one of the other patio servers I think we would have gotten more attention than we did from the inside server.Management might want to consider changing the table assignment plan on the upper and lower patios. Thursday June 23/22 we had about 20 plus people come in to the 97st 127ave location for a retirement celebration. This group was... mostly men who work outdoors daily. Whoever their server was tonight failed epically. She showed up once about every half houror longer. These are big drinker and hungry guys. They had to go to the bar to order their food and their drinks because theirwaitress was basically ignoring them. My husbands retirement function was somewhat of a disappointment and wasn?t the experiencehe has previously had at others events held at this location. Quite a disappointing evening had by all. Update. Today on July11/22 we returned to the Canadian Brewhouse on 97th st and were treated with absolute attention. We were celebrating a birthdayand the attendance and service was Awesome. Our waitress was cheerful and came by often to refresh our drinks. Take away emptyand used items. The manager came over and asked how we were doing and treated us to some amazing food and beverages. All in allit was a great experience. They went up and above to renew our positive outlook on this location. Thank you Brew Crew forbringing us back and serving us brilliantly. Read more
Canadian Brewhouse is the perfect place to watch sports with your sports team and friends. Lots of TV's, decent sizes too and... lots of food to choose from. This Canadian Brewhouse location is our go to location. The service is quick and attentive. Theservers and waitresses are friendly and professional. I highly recommend this location to anyone in Edmonton! P.S. The Danglersare amazing and so tasty! Read more
Honestly, I usually get amazing service here. Which is the only reason I gave the extra star. I have also left fantastic reviews... here. Today is not that day. Me and my boyfriend come for some drinks and some food. When a section is pretty much empty, whydid a server not come for over 15 min? I had one look me in the eye, help two tables next to us close out. Walked away. Pointedat our table to another server? and we were still ignored. As a server for 13 years on and off I can?t wrap my mind around it.We had to go get the bartender to get out server to help us. I would completely understand if it was a busy section. But that isridiculous. There is a total of 5 tables and all already had their food and drink! Come on man Read more
