Came here for the Saturday BBQ all you can eat and for $50 a person it was a great dinner! With tea, coffee and pop included the... Saturday BBQ Buffet was a great experience. The meat was pretty good with the ribs and brisket being our favorite. The food atthe buffet was all great and the pasta station cook was great. Really enjoyed all of the food and especially dessert here andwould recommend it for a special occasion. The server at brisket station could have been a lot better and some of the othermeats were dry but overall worth checking out this place! Read more
Overall, a great-looking restaurant that my family likes to visit every once in a while. Food quality is not superb but I don?t... mind it since it?s a relaxing atmosphere to grab a meal and catch up with friends and family. We hate to do this and we don?tlike to call people out individually but one particular server ?Heather? at the kitchen bistro offers a horrible diningexperience and makes us hesitate about visiting the restaurant more often. We have quietly observed her for the greater part ofthe past 4-5 years. In that, we can confirm she has served us at least 20 times over the years, so it?s fair to say that we havea decent sample size to give a fair assessment of her service quality. To keep it light, she is very cold and standoffish andmight come off as very rude to the average customer. Her negative energy, glowering facial expressions, and other subtle nuancessuch as the way she takes away the menu from you or the way she puts the food on your table, can make you feel very disrespectedand uncomfortable at times The first few times she served us, we were actually quite surprised to get such low-quality serviceat such a high-quality restaurant. We thought maybe we caught her on a bad day or she was going through something personally, sowe brushed it off and decided to give her a second, third, or fourth chance. But after almost 5 years and 20 dining experienceslater, along with many conversations with friends, colleagues, and coworkers, we were surprised to find out we were not the onlyones who felt this way about her. Many have confirmed similar dining experiences with Heather as their server. Simply put, weare probably not the first nor last to feel this way about her service. I surely did not care for this place whatsoever. All food was meh. Sent back chicken from caesar salad. Calamari below average.... It was Taco Tuesday and they have 3 kinds of Tacos for 9.99$. But guess what, when you order it, you have to get all 3 the sameflavor. So I was forced to eat all 3 chicken tacos instead of getting 1 beef, 1 veg and 1 chicken. It really is quiteridiculous. I've worked in kitchens over 25 years and there is no reason to force your guest to do this. Give us what wewant...variety. Fish tacos were no good either, steak looked bunk. Read more
We had the Friday All you can eat prime rib buffet and we were quite impressed with the quality of the food offered. The Prime... Rib was perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful. The salads were fresh with 5 unique salads and a build your own cesar station.The appetizers were excellent with cocktail shrimp, build your own Nachos but the Deep Fried Dill pickels were a absolutehighlight. The main courses offered plenty of proteins including a lamb, chicken and pork dish along with multiple veg and carboptions including perogies and cabbage rolls everything was excellent with the exception of the pork lion which was dry and Idid not care for the sauce but forgivable as it was the only miss on the whole buffet. They offered many deserts includingcakes, cheesecake, doughnuts all selections I tried were good. I really enjoyed the buffet, the quality and selection wasfantastic. The service was fast and friendly, the price is a bit steep at 49.95 per person 39.95 would hit the mark for me butyou can use your free players club card for a 10% discount which I appreciated. Dec 28, 2021 - ok. We came back today and tried the regular Menu. Food was good as always. I had the short rib and it was nice... and tender. Others had the Salmon, roast chicken, burger, and prawns. Our experience today for brunch was great. Reservationsfor 5 people. Our server was pleasant and efficient. Our food was really good. We made reservations for 1145am and they got us atable that met our needs just as I asked through the online reservation system. They gave us a carafe of coffee for the tablewith lots of cream. Yay! Two of us had steak and eggs, two house breakfasts and myself with the eggs Benny. The eggs Benny isserved Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 2pm. There are 6 versions to choose from: a regular, Fried chicken, salmon, avacado andtomato, and a lobster version. The price for the Benny's range from $9 to $21. Most are under $15. I would come here any dayover most trendy brunch places. It wasn't very busy today but that could be due to people just starting to come back from thepandemic. I got my Benny eggs soft. They were perfect. Update September 26 - had a great visit today. Good food as usual. Goodservice. We were the same table of 5 people and we got in quickly even with getting our vaccination and ID checks. Appreciatethe staff keeping us safe. Oct 23 2021... We visited today for my birthday brunch. Came here for my godson's birthday who shared same birthday with Rivercree. There was a fireworks display. We enjoyed our dinner... because our server Manesh is very friendly and excellent customer service. He showed a 5-star service. Good job! Read more
Update to my previous review. Much better experience if you bring fewer people. Also if you know what to order. (Hint... They... do a very good steak). Next time will be five stars if they don't mix up whose steak was who's (there were only two of us thistime) and/or if that buffet is up and still as good as ever next time we go. Read more
