It was a great afternoon/evening for a large family get together. The patio is set up for many scenarios with private sheltered... tables and umbrellas. Food was reasonably priced. I had a nice Caprese salad with extra steak. They were nice to accommodate my desire to have more protein with my salad. The... salad was excellent and the steak was cooked just the way I liked it, a miracle of sorts considering that they never asked how Iwanted the steak cooked. The service was good. I do wish waiting staff stopped trying to connect in ways that are soartificial. It does the opposite. I could voice in my mind what the young lady was going round say before she said it. Beforethe first bite even, the question about how it is tasting comes, do I have any plans isnthe question asked when I am paying. Itssupposed to affect personal interest for a bigger tip, perhaps. Sounds so phoney and contrived that it does the opposite. Theplace would not extend me a receipt for the meal because I paid cash, and I wanted to have the tip included in the expense--asit should be. But they refused to accommodate and acted as though this was an outlandish request. No ability to solve a simpleproblem. Not the sort of thing you reward with a tip. Read more

Went there for a party on Friday night for 7 people. Food took over 2 hours, even though we had a reservation and the ... restaurant was pretty much empty. The brisket was tough and hard to bite into. No one was happy with any of the food. Steakswere dry and chewie.
