5 Star for the wonderful crew. Excellent customer service. It was our first time here as we were looking to explore new... restaurant to dine in around white ave. It’s a typical come and go fastfood style place, the food was good, I love the tasteof the beef spicy ramen with the crispy battered broccolli on it. Pricing was fair and they always have monthly deals which wedidn’t know but the staff told us about it so yeah we enjoyed our experienced here. Read more
I love Japanese food and Tokyo Express is practical, convenient and affordable. Lot of options for whatever your craving is.... Personally I love their salmon rice bowl and that sesame sauce... delicious. There are a few new items on the menu. The pokebowl is a welcomed addition, and so are the fruit juices. Tokyo Express seems to have lost its sense of what it is. I watched the Terwillegar location slowly fade as the customer service... and food quality dropped over time. And then, sadly, they closed. The Strathcona location is one of the better Tokyo Expressthat I have been to. The customer service is good. The food is good. The restaurant itself is quiet and seemingly still storedaway post COVID. The photos of the food seem to be outdated and need a refresh. For example, the bowls still feature seaweedsalad on the food but now it's been replaced by other greens. I really have no complaints. So three stars is not a criticism. This is one of the Tokyo Express that actually delivers to what I would expect. Nothing extraordinary. But good nevertheless. Read more
The staff here were very kind, friendly, and made sure we felt welcome. Offered discounts and free samples of their fruit tea,... which was delicious. The dishes were all made fresh while we waited so it did take a little longer, but it was worth it for thetaste. It is a chain so you're not getting high end sushi or anything, but it is the best I've had for this franchise! Read more
I stopped here to pick up lunch before work and I found multiple hairs in my food, it was already too late to bring it back as... it was hours later and I was working out of the city. This is completely unacceptable, ESPECIALLY during a pandemic and I willchoose to not eat at a Tokyo Express ever again for this reason. This was at the 10371 78ave location, it's amusing this companyis advertised as healthy, because consuming strangers hair is DEFINITELY a health risk!! Read more
My friend and I went came in to grab a couple of Teriyaki Breakfast Wraps. They were delicious and the two ladies working were... very nice and talkative. Overall it was a great experience, first time in a Tokyo Express, will definitely be back! Read more
