Every dish we had was seasoned amazingly! The past was cooked perfectly el dente. Nothing was too salty or sweet. Our waiter was... super knowledgeable about Italian drinks. The light was a bit too dim for my liking, but other than that, the whole experiencewas perfect. Read more

Refined traditional Italian comfort food in an intimate setting. Part of the corso32 group, Uccellino is one of my favourite... spots for an intimate evening out. Food - Served family-style, we had the butter sage tagliatelle with parmigiano reggiano. Sodeliciously buttery and wonderfully flavoured, the silky noodles were absolutely sublime and not overly rich. Next up was thepollo al mattone, which was served with a panzanella salad. The chicken skin was crispy and and the meat well-seasoned andjuicy. The salad had a good ratio of roasted bread to crispy cucumber and red onion with a refreshing balanced dressing.Everything was amazing but once again I think perhaps ordered too much for two people. Still, I’d do it all overagain. Service - Our server was amazing. She was friendly and professional with great wine recommendations. Our water glasseswere never empty and our meal came out at a good pace—neither rushed nor lagging. Atmosphere - Romantically lit but not sodark that reading the menu would be an issue. The music level was set to create a nice backdrop to conversation and I couldeasily hear my dining companion without having to strain or speak too loudly to be heard. Read more

Absolutely stellar service. Our waitress was awesome, very attentive and friendly. We had the house made ricotta crostini to... start, it was absolutely delicious. It was a bit heavy in the cheese to bread ratio for me personally, but it was the creamiestricotta I have ever had. I would just maybe get some extra bread next time. Next we had the tagliatelle which was perfect.Great texture, perfectly cooked, and just the right portion. We then had the brick chicken. Super moist, again cookedperfectly. But heavy on the fennel for me, but I’m not a fennel fan. Was still great though. I got a whiskey sour to startwhich was great. I had a white negroni next which was honestly disgusting. I drank it because it was $15 but it tasted likecough syrup. Overall great experience. I love the simplicity of the menu. Will be back for sure. Read more

Here's the thing: If you're thinking of eating here, don't hesitate. Book your reservation now, and come back to read my... review. It's all positive. The service was over the top. My girlfriend loves to ask servers what the best dishes are, whattheir ingredients are, etc. Basically, she grills them. Our server didn't say "I'll have to check with the kitchen" once. Sheknew her stuff, asked for preferences, and made great recommendations. The food. My god, the food. All of it was flavorful, with great portions...not too much, not wanting more. We had a Wagyu capriccio starter, and whipped Goat ricotta on toast.Everything was perfect. We followed that with a shared dish of butternut squash ravioli, each morsel was light anddelicious. For mains, I went with the veal, girlfriend had bricked chicken. We had a slight hiccup here, but it was all to thegood. Our server felt that the chicken may have been overdone (if it was, it was very slight). She took it upon herself to havethe kitchen prepare another whole chicken, and boxed the original for us to take home. When staff are committed to perfection, you really can't ask for more from any establishment. My veal was a work of art. At no point did I have to use a knife, it wasthat well prepared. When knives are decorative, you know there's great chefs in the kitchen. The chicken was moist andflavorful. For dessert, we couldn't decide on their chocolate budino cake or olive oil cake. It was my birthday, so I wantedtheir best cake. I went with chocolate...they brought both, with no additional charge. The olive oil cake was a bit like a poundcake, quite good, but the chocolate was astounding. All in all, an amazing experience. As a former chef, I appreciate allaspects of a well-run restaurant, and the tip I left was one of the biggest I've done to date. Though the meal wasn't by anymeans inexpensive, the value was incredible. Was it worth eating here? 1000 times yes. Read more

Recently dined here on a Wednesday evening. The service was great. However it took a solid 15min for our order to be taken. Our... water glasses were filled approx 4 times between sitting down and ordering. Not sure why the waiter didn't take our order (ourmenus were closed and sitting stacked on the edge of the table). Anyways aside from the that the food was AMAZING. The raviolimade me want to cry it was so delicious. We also had the tagliatelle which was good as well. However. The ravioli is always thecrowd pleaser. I love Corso 32 and since it's closure, decided to try uccellino. Of course it was just as good. If you wantexpertly crafted flavors on fresh pasta. Come here. Don't go anywhere else for Italian. Read more

The chef’s tasting menu was an incredible way to spend 3 hours with my fiancée. A culinary journey that we loved every minute... of. Highlights included the bistecca and potato gnocchi. Overall a great experience, can’t wait to come back. Read more
