We got the food to go this time but have dined in previously too. It is our go-to for fish and chips. Especially love that they... have mushy peas. Their battered and fried mushrooms and oyster are also delicious, more so when dining in; crunchy as you bitein and all juicy inside. The restaurant has a nice ambience too. Read more
In terms of portion size, Winston's is the best. I've never seen such big filets of fish for fish n chips in Alberta before! Had... I known I would've ordered 1 fish and been completely satisfied. The taste and texture was superb and not greasy at all. Thesides were also great! Fountain drinks get unlimited refills. The server was very friendly but a bit difficult to catch theattention of when trying to ask for refills of drinks or water, or even to get the bill and take out boxes. Unfortunately oneof the toilets weren't flushing properly and there was no out of order sign... Overall though it was a great dining experienceand the food does not disappoint!!! Read more

Came here for the first time today. We went to Fort Edmonton Park and wanted something to eat that was close by. We thought we... would try this out. Best decision ever!! The quality of the food here is amazing. We got the halibut and the pieces were huge!Super crispy on the outside and tender and flaky on the inside. The onion rings were also delicious and so was the clam chowder.The waitress (we didnt catch her name..sorry!) answered all our questions and was very nice. The owner Jay is so friendly andpassionate about delivering top notch service and delicious high quality food. We will definitely be bringing our friends andfamily here. We are on a search for the best fish and chips in the city. Found that this place was very good. Fish was not greasey and... batter was just enough. I could taste fish not just batter. It’s my first visit. We got deep fried mushrooms, oysters and onion rings as appetizers. Haddock full meal for myself.... Everything is so juicy and I know they use very fresh deep fried oil because I used to be a restaurant owner and I can taste thedifference. Read more
Our server Kelly was really wonderful! Service was great and friendly. I am really happy they had a gluten-friendly (aware) menu... separate of the actual menu. Really great fish n chips! Coleslaw was great! They even had GF onion rings! Love it, will mostdefinitely be back! Read more
