The food was amazing. The atmosphere was fun and elegant. The blood moon drink tasted like fall in a cup. The Delmonico steak... was cooked perfectly with amazing seasonings. This is a two because the appetizers were pretty decent. We ordered the special “32oz tomahawk steak”. This was to be served... on the bone and medium well. We are avid steak eaters, thus are very familiar with this cut and size steak which is priced at$150 at this establishment for 2. The steak arrived over cooked, no bone, cut and literally we were wondering if we got thewrong thing. The server and the manager came over to explain this was the right order. The manager even proceeded to say well itlooks and smells good to me, with a condescending explanation of what a wagyu tomahawk steak is. Pretty ridiculous. The steakwas “ok” but it was not what we anticipated. This was subpar service and food at best. I’d compare it to your everydaysteakhouse and that’s an overstatement given the premium price. We waited for almost 2 hours for this disappointment; this isnot the same 1818 chophouse we’ve went to before. (Note, the atmosphere is a bit different and causal as well.) Read more
