The food was amazing. The atmosphere was fun and elegant. The blood moon drink tasted like fall in a cup. The Delmonico steak... was cooked perfectly with amazing seasonings. Solid food, both medallions and steak sandwhich were very good choices for brunch / lunch. Extremely prompt service, they def... checked in multiple times. This is a two because the appetizers were pretty decent. We ordered the special “32oz tomahawk steak”. This was to be served... on the bone and medium well. We are avid steak eaters, thus are very familiar with this cut and size steak which is priced at$150 at this establishment for 2. The steak arrived over cooked, no bone, cut and literally we were wondering if we got thewrong thing. The server and the manager came over to explain this was the right order. The manager even proceeded to say well itlooks and smells good to me, with a condescending explanation of what a wagyu tomahawk steak is. Pretty ridiculous. The steakwas “ok” but it was not what we anticipated. This was subpar service and food at best. I’d compare it to your everydaysteakhouse and that’s an overstatement given the premium price. We waited for almost 2 hours for this disappointment; this isnot the same 1818 chophouse we’ve went to before. (Note, the atmosphere is a bit different and causal as well.) Read more
Absolutely delicious. I spent days afterwards thinking about the lobster risotto. We ate here for our anniversary dinner and... everything was fantastic. My husband said his steak was one of the best he's had in his life. Read more
The tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection last night. Everything was delicious! The prices are affordable. The seasoning used... for the steak was sooooo flavorful. You all remember the scene from White Chicks where they’re ordering food? Well that wasme, I was so embarrassed in front of my date. Wow what a wonderful spot. We had an 8 people party here, all ordered steaks and all were extremely pleased. The service was... great, and the meat quality was one of the best ones I had in a long long time! Steaks were juicy and cooked to perfection (Igot the 18oz ribeye). Prices are incredibly reasonable for a place that oozes elegance and prestige - for both food and drinks.Sat with a cigar outside after the wonderful meal to end a perfect dinner night. Will definitely be back when in the area andwould highly recommend visiting if you're around (and even driving a bit if you're in St. Louis). Read more
