Unfortunately for us it was the worst service ever. Early morning only one other person in restaurant besides us and he was... done eating. Waitress was cleaning floor and seemed to have no desire to wait on us. While over hearing her conversation withcook she was looking for money while cleaning, so I assume that was more important than us. Food was good and well preparedother than the bisque I order, it must have been from day before cold and hard couldn?t eat. Normally it?s our favorite placeto stop on our way through Effingham to visit daughter. Read more

Our server was a guy that I wished I'd have gotten his name. I believe he was called in to work and was filling in and he was... absolutely ON the service. He had us drinks before we could even ask for them. He brought extra napkins before we asked,condiments, before we asked, remembered all our food (it was a group of us) and he wasn't annoying or interrupting us. He had agreat attitude and we appreciated his kindness and service greatly! We hope he will be there when we come again! Read more

Waitress that seated me didn?t even ask if I needed anything to drink. A second waitress said they were out of coke. The food... was cold. The waitress Brianne complained about her job in the restaurant area where all customers could hear her. She had ahorrible attitude and was very unprofessional. Another customer, sitting in the next table from me, told waitress her food wascold and waitress said the cook must have overcooked her food and he could remake it for her or not charge her. Never given anynapkins or even asked if I was okay, how the food tasted or if needed anything else. I had to walk up to the checkout to get mybill and pay, I expressed that my experience here was horrible. She asked why and when I told her my food was cold, she neveronce checked on me or even offered to check if I needed anything else or even ask me if I was ready for my bill. That waitresstold me they were short staffed and if I wanted something that I should have asked. When asked for the manager a man came outwithout any name tag and was wearing street clothes Came out and did apologize. When I asked the name of the general managerand the district manager, they gave me a name of Maria, last name unknown to waitress. Hmmm??? Brianne also said to me youate all of your food!!! Uh no I did not and took pics to prove so! I only ordered 1 biscuit and gravy (cold), bacon (cold), andhash browns (cold) and tasteless! At that time, Brianne grabbed her name tag and was shaking at me and said if I had a problemwith her, that was her name and I could tell her manager, of name she only gave me was Maria. This is the worst service at anyrestaurant I have ever dined!!! Do not recommend this Denny?s to anyone! Read more
