I googled a soul food restaurant near me before heading into work. This spot pop up along with others and thought I would give... it a try. This place is definitely a great spot to eat. I had the Chicken Wing Platter with Mac and Cheese and Collard Greens.Everything I ate was delicious. Definitely going to to be heading back. Read more
I order from Platters at least twice a week. Food is really really good. I?m from North Carolina we add hot sauce to our... collard greens, no hot sauce needed with these greens just the right amount of heat. True southern style cooking. I?ve prettymuch had everything on the menu and highly recommend this restaurant. Chef Tanya is extremely friendly and eager to help. Goodservice is definitely hard to find these days. I was excited to eat here, today on Father's day, my father apparently have ate at the place before. Started with the corn on... the cob which was very good and tasty. I was very disappointed in the greens they were so salty that I really tried to eat themand could only take a few bites and could not finish them. I love greens this actually upset me. I've never had salty greenslike this before. The fried chicken was OK, whatever oil used to cooked, tasted old. The Mac and cheese had a weird after taste.I'm not very please with this platter.
