I order from Platters at least twice a week. Food is really really good. I?m from North Carolina we add hot sauce to our... collard greens, no hot sauce needed with these greens just the right amount of heat. True southern style cooking. I?ve prettymuch had everything on the menu and highly recommend this restaurant. Chef Tanya is extremely friendly and eager to help. Goodservice is definitely hard to find these days. I was excited to eat here, today on Father's day, my father apparently have ate at the place before. Started with the corn on... the cob which was very good and tasty. I was very disappointed in the greens they were so salty that I really tried to eat themand could only take a few bites and could not finish them. I love greens this actually upset me. I've never had salty greenslike this before. The fried chicken was OK, whatever oil used to cooked, tasted old. The Mac and cheese had a weird after taste.I'm not very please with this platter. Went to Platters today. Saw some positive reviews and I wanted to give it a try. I was not disappointed! They have a nice menu... with lots to choose from. I had already looked at the menu online and knew exactly what I wanted when I got to the restaurant toplace an order to go. I was greeted by the friendly staff working the counter and was offered assistance. I placed my order viaa kiosk/touch screen. It was easy to navigate and quick to use. I ordered the chicken wing platter which comes with 4 wholewings, two choices for sides and cornbread. I chose green beans and candied yams. The wings were big, crunchy and tasty. Thesides were very good! Overall, I?m very happy I tried Platters. I will definitely return for more of the same and to try otheritems on the menu. If you?re short on time, best food and best customer service hands down! The mac and cheese, the collard greens, the short... ribs.. everything they make is incredible. First time visit! Food is cooked to order, extremely fresh. The fried fish sandwich was outstanding, the chicken wings are cook... perfectly!! Hubby said Fish & Chip were very good just wished there where two pieces instead of one. Son said chicken wing weregood, wing size was good & Collar greens were delicious!
