Sushi is usually good. However, definitely don?t dine-in close to their closing time because you will be watched by the servers... who?ll just stand by the bar and watch people eat. You will feel awkward and won?t even be able to enjoy your food because theywill be constantly approaching your table trying to take something away regardless of whether you?re done with it or not. There are very few "good" sushi houses in East County with Japanese staff doing the traditional ways. Ahi does traditional with... a twist. Beautiful presentations, fresh ingredients and tasty renditions. I'll be back! Read more

We had an extremely friendly and attentive server named Linda. The portions are hearty and the prices are better than expected.... They offer a coupon for a free California Roll with a minimum purchase. The Spicy Edaname was okay, a little more firm than welike. Garlic chicken dinner special was flavorful. The Vegetable Ramen was filling. Lots of noodles, but could have morevegetables. The Spicy Miso Ramen was flavorful. As for the atmosphere, there is adequate seating. The lighting in the evening isa bit on the dark side and there is a prominent fish odor as you walk through the door. The majority of our party would dinehere again. Read more
