One of my favorite spots for carne asada burritos. Meat is soft and with lots of taste. The hot sauce is amazing.
I'll first prefix by saying that we can't speak regarding the other variables, that other reviewers have mentioned (i.e. dining... section, other location, etc.). The bar section of Rancho San Diego location is the only environment we've been participants,and has eventually become a neighborhood hang-staple for my husband and I. Those considerations aside -- we have had nothingbut great experiences, since first visiting in 2019. "¿Por que?" ALBERT'S MEXICAN might be a no-frills venue, but has all thethe important benchmarks: 1.) The ambiance is simple, clean, and welcoming; 2.) The service is excellent (perhaps lackssaccharine small talk, but we personally prefer efficient and warm-but-professional -- Manny is especially wonderful); 3.) Thefood is DARN good, 'San Diegian Mex' (VS. Authentic Mexican). In short: Highly recommend ALBERT'S MEXICAN. Read more
This place is a great night out or if you want to watch sports .because the bar room.thry make the really big rolled tacos they... are great I recommend adding salsa fresca on top of them and tell them to go light on the cheese unless you like it loaded down.good first date casual Read more

Amazing! We have tried multiple other Mexican restaurants in the area and Alberts is still the best. The cali surf and turf,... ceviche, rolled tacos, and churros are some of our favorites. Service is great even though they are always busy. Read more
We loved this place! It it?s our second time here, our first visit was a month ago but surprisingly the staff remembered us and... she even remembered where we sat last time! I was really impressed by their good service! This place is really busy but thestaff is still really nice and helpful so please be patient with them. The price is reasonable and the food is AMAZING!! Theyhave a great selection of food and drinks!( They even have a separate area for the Bar/ Cantina!) We especially loved theirsoup and Hot Cheetos burrito!! Their soup always comes in a big bowl and the hot Cheetos burrito might sound weird but trust meit?s sooo good!!! We will definitely keep coming back and try out more different items!! Read more
Just moved here to California and my friend suggested getting dinner from Albert's one night, so I decided to get the... chimichanga platter. It was delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed my chimichanga I haven't had a good one except for when I lived onthe East Coast in Dover Delaware. It was a huge chimichanga perfectly cooked with just the right amount of cheese it came withgreen sauce, Spanish rice, refried beans, lettuce and diced tomatoes. We occasionally get Albert's now at least once or twice aweek. The service is great and the people are nice so I highly recommend if you're looking for a spot to eat or try out this isthe place to go! Read more
