L&L is one of the few most favorite places that I go to. Food was good, But its usually very good. It was over cooked a little.... I have been going to the one in Mira Mesa for years and never had an over cooked chicken. It must have been a one timeissue. The place was clean and nice with a few add-on option of rice and spam. I will be back again soon for sure because Ilike L&L and to make sure it was only that just one time I had a little burned chicken skin. Read more
I usually LOVE L&L, but just not this location. The chicken was burnt and very dark. So dark we thought it was our beef plate.... Newp, was the chicken. The macaroni salad also tasted a bit off and gave my daughter a stomach ache. They must not have alot ofhelp here because we were waiting inside for a minimum of 30 minutes. The location by my house is always busy and we never waitthat long for food and the food is always tasty and cooked to perfection. On a non food note- girl that takes the ordersunlocked the restroom for a male customer, brings the key back to the register area and 3 min later another female workergrabbed the restroom key and entered the restroom right as the male was getting ready to exit. The register girl did not botherto tell her she let someone in the bathroom. The guy would've been exposed to the guests waiting for their food if she would'veentered 1 minute sooner. Read more
Really good food. Never had a bad meal here. One of my favorite breakfasts is this Loco Moco.
Went there earlier today 3/25/22.. very new staff, did not know how to select QR code for the app. She said she has to wait for... her manager... Other than the poor training the new staff, it is always great food, decent service, and perfect if you'reordering to-go. Would not recommend eating inside it gets hot and stuffy. Perfect meal if you are craving Hawaiian food. Isuggest ordering the combo and it comes with steak, chicken, and BBQ short ribs. Around $15. We also substitute the short ribswith the katsu chicken, as there is not that meat on the ribs (mostly bone) Have fun ???? Read more
I would like to start this review off by saying the lady who works in the front is very nice and have us excellent service.... However, my wife and I got our food severely burnt, and the taste was horrifying. It tasted like there was some type of chemicalcleaner that was cooked into the meat. I wish I could describe the smell and taste. They also have their cooks smoking out frontwhich is an obvious public health violation. This is very disappointing considering L&L is usually one of our favorite places toeat, and this was our first time at this broadway location and definitely our last. I am really hoping to convey this as apossible warning if you have kids, or eat here yourself I would just be a bit mindful. Read more
Food was good, very large portions. Person taking the orders was very nice. But the owner really needs to get on staff about... cleaning the place. The amount of dust inside hanging off the ceilings made me feel gross thinking how dirty the kitchen was. Read more
