I love this store so much. It's definitely overpriced for some brand name items and you can absolutely get oreis and bread and... noodles somewhere else waaaay cheaper. But hey if you can afford it then whatever. I just come here for the bakery and theirsalads. Honestly no other store I've been to can compare to the salad quality and selection here. I'm talking bout the pre-madepackaged salads. They are always fresh and packed with protein. A little pricey but it's worth it when I need th extra leanprotein for a meal after working delivery. Seems to have employees available at all departments. Cashiers tend to have a person helping with bags. Front clerk/ supervisor... stands at front like a watch dog. One late night right before close I asked for strawberries. Didn?t know they were put away. Didn?t need them and told employee no worries. He still went to the back on got a package for me- forgot his name. Ordered 6cases of water but had to go through couple people which led to Nikko calling me next day. Liked that they communicated and gotthe job done. Great selections of groceries carrying conventional and organic mixed. Service beats local competitors like NobHill and Whole Foods. Store clean and well maintained. Read more

I am new to the Nugget concept and I am a huge fan. It's a bit like Whole Foods, but with a much more local feel. They are not... for the folks on a really tight budget, although they do have their weekly specials and other discounted items. I focused mostof my time and budget on the butcher shop, produce, dairy, and of course, the coffee aisle. The butcher shop is very clean, andorganized. Across from the fresh options, there is a wide variety of marinated meats. Everything from tequila lime chicken, tojerk chicken and bulk sausage. The coffee selection is excellent, with a variety of bay area and Sacramento coffee roasters. That generally makes my heart sing because I appreciate single-origin coffee, and more than anything else, I prefer to supportlocally owned and operated coffee peeps. The produce selection is solid and as much as I want to love it, I think the pricesare a bit high. Also, I really do appreciate and prefer a farmer's market for my veggies. But, overall, the produce I purchasedwas just fine. I was starving and it's never a good idea to grocery shop whilst starving. I made my way to the sandwich shopand had a delicious bon mi sandwich. Tender, flavorful pork, crunchy delicious veggies, fresh bread and it wasexceptional. Everyone I interacted with was kind and helpful, which is an added plus. I've been back a few times and have spentway too much money here, but I am definitely a big fan. Read more

Very nice grocery store, clean and stylish layout. Great offer of high quality products local and imported, I particularly like... the variety of cheese and charcuterie. Fresh produce have also a lot of different veggies and fruit from the most common to theexotic ones, quality is also good. It could seems like this grocery store is more expensive that the other ones, but its offeris high quality products you are not able to find everywhere. Read more

Nugget is a great market for just about everything you need. If I were feeding a huge family, I don?t think I?d shop here, but... for 1-2 people, it?s great. I like the large selection of organic produce, but I don?t prefer the fruits here. We do enjoy thehot food selections and the salad bar. They also carry some brands that I can?t seem to find nearby anywhere else. Paleo snacksand gluten free breads to choose from too. They also have a large selection of La Croix soda water! I do shop at big boxstores and seem to fill in the blanks here with things I can?t find in bulk and specialty items I can?t find anywhere else. Westop in here quite a bit and the service is always super friendly and they usually have ample checkers open so you rarely waitmore than just a few minutes to check out. A great neighborhood store.
