Oh my, this restaurant is so good. The food, drinks and desserts are unique. I can\'t compare it to any other restaurant i have... tried in El Paso. The pistachio latte and guava cheese cake is smooth and dreamy. Sorry for the lack of photos. My wife and Iwere very hungry and ate with out thinking about taking a photo. I will visit and star this restaurant again. Read more

My dad suggested this restaurant for my birthday and I had not been here before. I called to reserve a table and they said they... didn’t take reservations but they took my name and number for Saturday for six. There was a table ready for my party so I waspleased. The drink’s and food were amazing. The service was excellent. I loved how attentive the staff was. The only thing Iwould suggest is trying to get all the plates out at the same time. We waited a little for my dad to get his plate and we allwanted to wait for him before eating. Overall it was a great experience and would go back again. Read more

Must try! This Peruvian-Mexican restaurant is owned by the same family as Don Carbon which is located on Mesa St and attached to... a Don Carbon building. It looked like Amar could use seating of the Don Carbon it\'s attached to! Went for late lunch on afriday and they were packed, parking was the same. The ambiance was fresh with wood tones and plants everywhere. The food was sodelicious words could not do justice. We tried empanadas that come with salsa on the side that was so good! The Lomo Saltado wasso filling, the tenderloin was perfectly seasoned with roasted onions and tomato that was absolutely delicious. It comes on topof fries which got soggy from the tenderloin and tomato juices, and accompanied by a pyramid of jasmine rice. Also, tried theArroz Chaufa Mixto which is wok fried rice with shrimp chicken and beef. We had the Chicha Morada drink which was recommended byour waiter and originates from the Andean region of Peru. It is made from dried purple corn and mixed with pineapple and spices,it was a slightly sweet taste with the tiniest bit of a spice kick to it. Reminded me of Jamaica. For dessert, we tried thepopular Maracuya Cheesecake with is Cheesecake flan with a top layer of passion fruit and Suspiro Limeno which tasted like adulce de leche custard with meringue on top. There was a small birthday party and they played Las Mañanitas over the speakersfor them which was so cool of them to do. The service was good and appreciated multiple people checking up on us. Highlyrecommend you try this restaurant and can already tell they will need to find a bigger building or open another elsewhere as ithas high potential! Read more
