Wonderfull Small quaint restaurant thats super clean. No frills needed when the service is quick, efficient, nice, & the food... is great. Chilaques are very close to my moms, which is impressive. Hashbrowns are buttery & the perfect combo of well done, soft yet perfectly crisp. Lemonade(aqua de limon) is better than most places & comes in large mason jars, with one free refill.Usually need at least 1 refill but here the intial serving was perfect amount and needed no refill. Menudo was clean, flavorful, with soft hominy. Personally I prefer a spicier soup base, easily added crushed red pepper & their housemade salsa.Bread was fresh, sliced lengthwise & toasted to perfection. Buttered just right. Placed was fully sat and we waited about 7-10mins at 10 AM on a Sunday. Tables were quickly cleaned and service was not rushed. I'm a slow eater and not once did we feelpushed out. Servers and managers were busy and the kitchen was bustling, yet no one was mean, rude, or upset either withcustomers or each other. Sign of a great restaurant is how they handle big rushes. Employees seem genuinely happy at workwithout it feeling fake or forced. Really enjoyed the food, the vibe, and the effort that was put into the simple menu wherefood really shines. Read more
