Bad service, food took 40 minutes and it was still wrong, dirty floors, tables and salsa bar, they had no napkins and when we... asked for some they rolled their eyes and gave us 3 napkins. They are all just standing next to the order pick up and talking.If you want to eat taco tote I recommend you make the drive to another location. Read more
This used to be my go to spot when I visited El paso, the people behind the counters used to be so friendly. My fondest memories... were of the women in the back making handmade tortillas, everyone would greet you! I recently visited because I came to Elpaso Had the same expectation from years past experience,but unfortunately was dissapointed.. food was ok atmosphere was cold nohellos or parting comments It used to feel more inviting or welcoming. Kinda pricey, not great. Barbacoa was pretty fatty, pastor not real tender. Salsa bar concept great, but been there seen that.... Salsas not real great either, although had a nice kick. Read more
We ordered 3 Tacotote pack, two to eat there and one to go. When we got our order, they just dumped all the tacos and baked... potatoes in a bag. I saw that other customers were getting their orders well presented in a basket and ready to eat. We didn'teven get a spoon to eat our potato with. I went to get spoons and asked them why we got everything just in a bag. They said thatbecause they were told our order was to go. I told the lady that answered my question that only one order was to go, and shejust said, "If you like we can put your tacos in a basket." But I was already so disappointed and upset that I didn't sayanything. Very bad service. Read more
If you remember the Tacotote glory days, it?s nothing compared to what it is now. I gave it three stars for paying $21.94 just... for me. The taco that raised the price was a 5.99 shrimp taco that was bland and tasteless. The bistek tacos I got weredelicious and tasty. They were enhanced with the great tasting salsas they have. The side rice was salty and had a few hardbits. I would recommend if you don?t mind paying more than $20 per person and being almost satisfied. Read more
The entire experience was disappointing. It was hard to find a clean table. I waited over 20 minutes for my food, I had to... pick it up myself, it was just there on the counter. My meat was cold and tasteless. The rice tasted like tomato and thebeans were not good. The guacamole had more tomatoes than avocados and tasted like lemons!! 1-star on the service is NOT because they gave us bad service. But it's Taco Tote, I don't expect them to do more than taking... my order, give me the little cups for my salsa, hand me that little number thingy and send me off. I did find it weird theircredit card machine made suggestion on tips, starting from 18%. 1-star on the food is not because they make me sick oranything. It was the fact that my Family Platter for two was the same size as the Street Plate my wife had. Street Plate isfor one person while the Family Platter for two was supposed to feed two persons? I finished that Family Platter with room tospare...yet I paid 24 bucks for that?! Read more
