My 2 adult childern and a family friend were dinning at the Sunlad Park location about 4 days ago. While eating we ran out of... napkins & seated close to the bar my son got up to ask for some. The mgr gave him the napkins & proceeded to scold him for notwearing a mask! His hands had food , the waitress was not around, was he to sit there looking like a slob sir? To further insultus the mgr didnt care that 3 kitchen staff were woking without Masks. I had clear view of the kitchen the entier time. What abunch of hippocrates. Read more
Really good food! The atmosphere is really relaxing. The only fault would be staff etiquette a little to dual and not very... friendly, maybe some bad days but the staff should be a little more enthusiastic. Read more
UPDATE! !!!!! Yesterday's visit was 200% better than previous visit and I'm so happy we decided to give this location another... chance. Everyone was extremely friendly and attentive. Food was so good! They hit every mark, flavor, presentation, temperature. Will be our "to go "place when we are on this side of town!! Thank you for the positive experience. My husband andI, really wanted to like this place. After further discussion, we are really wanting to give it a second chance BUT at adifferent location. First, the restaurant itself is nice and clean with a variety of beers/alcohol, ambiance was perfect. Walking in we were greeted right away and was told to find a seat. Our waitress( older lady, shoulder length curly hair andglasses) took our drink order right away which was what we thought was the start of a great experience. Unfortunately she didnot keep the momentum going after that. She was inattentive and spent most of her time with her back towards us while up at thekitchen window where outgoing food is placed. On to the food.... The menu looked and sounded fantastic! It had me hooked andwith much anticipation waiting for my green chili burger. My husband ordered the Toro Burger, my oldest had the Buffalo ChickenBurger and my middle had the All American burger. Aside from a robust selection of different burgers their fry selection wasnothing normal to say the least. They give you the option of flavored fries. My husband ordered the chili lime fries and myoldest ordered salt and vinegar. I opted for plain. On to the service and wait time... We waited, and waited and waited. Iwant to say it was a solid 40 minutes to get our meal and that's with 5 tables occupied. But we tried to stay optimistic, afterall the menu had a lot to offer and my family waited patiently for our food, obviously the food itself will blast away theill feelings I had on our waitress and length of time waiting for our food. Tried it out last week and was impressed with the Blue Burger. Flavor and meat temp was spot on. That was the only good thing... this visit. The fries were dull and cold. Rather than refill the raspberry tea, it was swapped out with a regular tea ratherthan giving me a choice. If you run out of a particular product, please ask the customer what their preferred alternative is.Something with flavor would have been nice. Our fried mushroom appetizer was fried almost solid. We had to crack it open to eatthe mushroom inside and skip the exterior. Concerning was the disdain for current health regulations. Our server consistentlyslid her mask lower throughout dinner. First time here, service was friendly and burgers were good. Restaurant was slow, only one other couple, so service was timely.... Not sure what the toro sauce is exactly, but it was one the Guacamole Bacon Burger and it had a great flavor. We'll be back nexttime we're in Texas. Read more
