honestly just straight disappointed... co worker and I ordered it wasn't until I showed up that I was told they didn't have... waffles because it was broken. not a big issue but took 30 minutes just to get burnt eggs and a glob of marina sauce instead oftomato soup. Read more

Great food here, with the exception of the meatballs in the linguini. Other than that, everything else is pretty top notch.... Staff is kind and friendly, atmosphere has more of a pub atmosphere contrast to the original Village Inn and although different,it?s not enough to justify passing this place up. Will return! I thought everything was bigger in Texas? Not breakfast. The food was just ok. We went after an appetite building hike and were... really hungry. This meal really didn't hit the spot after exercising. It might be ok if you're not that hungry. The pies lookedreally good but didn't try any. The servers were very polite and attentive. Read more

Service was pretty good and got my food fast and hot. The pancakes were good. My hash browns were tough and tasted old like they... were precooked and held on a steam table for service. The omelette had an odd flavor that I couldn't figure out, so I didn'tfinish it. Read more

Extremely similar to village inn except they serve beer and wine so that?s a plus! It?s a great place to have breakfast with... family and friends. It?s good for large groups. Or if you just wanna have some coffee and a slice of pie, this place is a goodoption. Although they do serve alcohol, this isn?t a place I would go to if I just wanted to drink a beer or two. I?d feel alittle judged, haha. Other than that, their pies are delicious?just like village inn. Read more

Very friendly and quick service--even for a busy evening. We wanted to check this place out since we had not been before. We had... a very friendly, efficient waiter and the food came out very quickly. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely goback. A great place to go if you're in the mood for breakfast. Highly recommend the New Mexico steak and enchiladas plate! Read more

My wife and I used to love going to the Village Inn at South Desert and Mesa off of I-10. Now it's, Butter Smith Kitchen. At... first I was hesitant to eat there but my wife wanted to try it out. Well, I'm glad she talked me into going there because I wastotally surprised. I had been craving some red enchiladas with two eggs overeasy and I wasn't expecting this restaurant to offerit in their menu. Boy, was I wrong. They had this dish along with other breakfast selections. Of course, I asked for my dish Iwas craving and it was delicious. The red chile sauce was perfect. Try it out you will love this place. My wife and I willdefinitely be going there for breakfast from now on. Read more
