First of all, the family running this place are very nice and friendly. They just seem happy and welcoming to me. Secondly,... they are NOT afraid to make it SPICY if you ask for it. I just ate some lamb biryani extra spicy and it was an out of bodyexperience. The uncle who was cooking in the back was not messing around! ???? Thirdly, it's all really good food. Great experience overall and very spacious inside. Awesome for big dinners. The staff is friendly and attentive and we were me... with great service for our party of 8. We tried a variety of appetizers like samosas, paneer pakora and fish pakora. Everythingwas fresh and flavorful! For the main entree we tried the butter chicken, goat curry, dal, palak paneer, paneer tikka andchana. Everything was spiced well and perfectly paired with the fresh garlic naan. Without a doubt the best Indian meal I've had in the Bay Area. Everything was homemade and very delicious. The Tikka Masala... sauce was rich and extremely satisfying, with the perfect balance of flavors. It's been years since I've had a Tikka Masala thatgood. And I highly recommend finishing the meal with their Chai Tea. Also, the service was extremely friendly and attentive.Looking forward to coming back and trying more from their extensive menu. Downright delicious. The El Sobrante/San Pablo/Richmond area finally has a top-tier Indian restaurant! The appetizers were... flavorful, the entrees were decadent and the dessert made me forget how full I was. Our favorites were the Shani Paneer, SheeshKababs and the Daal Makhni.
