I stopped in to get a cheese steak sub for dinner. Fast service and great food.

Our waitress was really sweet, but she was basically left alone and it took 40 minutes to get our check because a huge party... came in and she was overwhelmed. So the service is not great, but that wasn't about the individual it was about the management.I had the ahi tuna appetizer and it was just OK, it was dry and the wasabi crema was barely existent on the plate. I use to like this place I moved away and was in town and figured we would go back it was one of the worst experience I have... ever had. The cream of crab soup was water not alot of crab meat inside and was lukewarm. I asked for some Crackers and wasinformed we don't have any use the bread. I would probably never go back. Read more

First time dining in here in a year or so. I grew up right around the corner, and could even walk here back in the day. It was a... really busy night and they seemed understaffed. Reservation took 30min to get seated after being told 10min. Staff forgot to getus more water and a small plate at least twice. Crab dip and drinks were great. Half the dinner was cold when it came out. Anhour after we got there things finally calmed down and service was better then. Good friendly atmosphere they just seemed a bitof a mess tonight. I took my mother to lunch here. It is a very nice looking place, not too fancy. Very clean, orderly and quiet. There is outside... seating. It was too hot for us, but there was a group of 4 enjoying the outside when we came. We did not need reservations forlunch. The restaurant is in a safe area with plenty of parking, including handicapped parking. Accessible by wheelchair. Thefood was delicious. The portions were generous, and we both took home the rest of our meals. I had shrimp scampi on sauteedspinach. The sauce with the meal was so good, I was sopping it up with my bread. My mother had a chicken pesto sandwich withfries, which was excellent. (I had a chance to finish it off for her at home). The restaurant offers other sandwiches, saladsand entrees. It was difficult to choose from the list what we wanted, so many good choices. Like all good Italian restaurantsthere is a good diverse wine list to choose from. Our server was upbeat and attentive without being smothering. She was able toanswer all of our questions about the food as well as make good suggestions. The restaurant also does catering and take out.The desserts at the takeout area looked delicious, but we were already full from our meal and had to regretfully pass. This isone of a local Baltimore-based family owned local chain of 4 restaurants, but eating here just highlighted the differencebetween a restaurant like this one and the national chains. My mother was impressed enough that she is going to recommend it toher sorority the next time they go out to eat. I might be able to convince my wife to come with us the next time we are in thearea.
