Friendly service and good family atmosphere in the dining room. The NY Strip was juicy and tasty enough to skip any steak sauce.... The mashed potatoes paired perfectly. The Cajun burger, ordered by my husband was thick and seasoned through- really tasty, eventhough I don?t like Cajun spice. He really enjoyed it. We accidentally discovered this gem of a restaurant on our road trip back from NYC. Family friendly menu with great kids menu... and they even have step stools in the women?s bathroom for little ones. It?s the little things like that, that make you feelwelcome with kids. Also the food was very good. We got a giant soft pretzel with cheese and it was great. I got the baby backribs which were sooo big lol and fall apart tender! My girls got the kids menu chicken strips and fries and enjoyed them verymuch. Read more
The restaurant was clean, the staff were all very friendly and the service was good. We got a burger and the chicken Chesapeake.... The burger was very good and cooked correctly. The chicken Chesapeake wasn't the best I've ever had but was also pretty good.The chicken was moist and cooked correctly, though the mashed potatoes were a bit cold and stodgy. The pumpkin cheesecake wasalso pretty good. The prices were decent and overall the food met expectations for the type of restaurant. We will definitely goback when we are in the area. Read more
Great service, delicious food. I had the Cobb salad (added cucumbers because, well, cucumbers) and it was a generous portion.... Pizzas were loved by the kids, hubby got a buffalo chicken sandwich and said it was good. I'm a wine person and always on thehunt for a great sangria, this place has it (red for me). Never EVER Z a disappointment. I travel all over the world, and then the little town of Eldersburg this local restaurant... consistently puts out some of the best food. It's not local nostalgia or home town pride, I live a good 45 minutes away fromthis restaurant. If you can even find a seat consider yourself lucky, you usually need reservations as this place is packed by5:00. Happy hour specials are good. And the beer always has clean lines. Those dirty nasty IPA lines of elsewhere just neverseem to happen here. Lunch prices are particularly good. Read more
