Hidden Gem Alert! I almost don't want to do the post because I don't want a bunch of people to know about this great place but... that is unfair to the owner. Super cute restaurant, very warm atmosphere, great staff and an amazing owner (Arlene). When wearrive the first time we informed the waiter that we had not been there before and in conversation with the owner he told herand she came out and greeted us. That is very rare in today's day and time. Personal touches go along way. Food is amazing, madeto order and fresh. Drinks are good. Just an amazing place. At this point we have been there twice once for breakfast and oncefor lunch. Tip: try the Ruben egg rolls, you won't be disappointed. Definitely a find and definitely worth the visit. You willthank me for this one! Read more

Made reservations for 630 for my anniversary dinner, ordered at 645, all good... Drinks came 10 minutes later.... Left at 750,... over an hour later when the cheese and salami appetizer still didn't come. Never got the appetizer or any other food, waitresschecked on us once in the hour to see if we needed anything. Told hostess and waitress that food hadn't come and it's been over45 min to get cheese and pepperoni. Don't know what happened here but I would avoid this place if you actually want to get anyfood to eat. Totally ruined our anniversary night. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants in the area, sad to losewhat used to be a good place due to no service and no communication. ***Update- the owner called me to apologize and offer totry and make things right if we came back to try again. She was very sincere and clearly knew about what happened and cared. It sounded like it was a perfect storm last night for them, and she knew it wasn't handled well in the moment. I appreciatelocal business that care and can apologize when things go wrong. Hopefully next time we go back it will be as good as it was inthe past. Thank you for trying to make things right today. We have been to county cork many times for lunch and dinner and even brunch once. We have made it a mission to try each thing... on the menu and so far we have not found a single bad option. The chef clearly understands seasoning which lots of restaurantslack. Typically the meals here are very cost effective around $20 per person. This was a special event that we decided to try,a 5 course wine and food pairing, it was perfect portioning and good wine selections for pairing. $50 dollars per person was agreat deal to get to try new things and wine included. Will definitely try to get into this always sold out even again. Read more

My wife and I have been here in the past. Friends of ours bumped into us tonight and invited, spontaneously, for us to come out... with them to dinner. They chose Cork. Kassie, our server, was attentive to my wife's urgent requirements for her glutenintolerance. But the real show stealer was Chef Gordon. Never met one like this before. My wife has had to eat gluten freefor many years. No one, and I mean no one, has ever asked her for her name so they can write down her food likes and dislikesfor the next time she comes in. Wow. VERY impressive. Overall the food was Very delicious, including the steak and thedesserts. The shrimp salad app was a little bland though. But that was outweighed by Gordon's true interest in making sure mywife was happy, and pure happy she was when she ate his fried shrimp, cod and fries. Gotta live that dedicated fryer!!!!! Thank you so much, Gordon, for a great experience. Read more

Pleansantly surprised. Didn't order much wasn't that hungry. Got the chicken ceasar salad and it was great. I really like how... they cubed the chicken. Allowed me a piece for each perfect bite. Also, had a Jamison orange crush that was great. I could drinkthose all day long. Will go back again. Read more

Overall very tasty food with a good selection. The rockfish and venison shepherd's pie was very good. We will go again. The cake... in the fudge cake was a little dry, but it was cover up by the fudge and the green beans were a little over salted. Read more
