Like its name says, the Corner Pizza is at the corner of NY55 & NY32 about 4 miles north of Barryville on Rt97. Out of the... way? Maybe. Worth the trip? Definitely! Run by a pair of twin brothers, this open air pizzeria, offers a selection of deliciouspizzas topped with locally grown tomatoes, peppers and other toppings and cooked in their wood fired oven. They have anextensive offering of bottled beer as well as soft drinks, tea and the like. Seating is limited to less than 10 tables andanother half dozen bar height seats at the kitchen bar and when the place is busy the wait for food can be long. Read more

What a fantastic place. True brick oven pizza. We visited yesterday and had an amazing time. The pizza was incredible and the... staff was super friendly. The price was very reasonable for the portions you get, we even brought some pizza home because it wasso good. My wife and I drove by on a Friday night and saw it bustling. Decided to swing by Sunday for lunch on our way back home and are... very glad we did. Food was excellent, decent beer choice, and the staff was a pleasure. We'll definitely be regularly stoppinghere on our trips north. Read more
