They were extremely busy this night, but even so I ordered a large extra cheese pan pizza. When I got home and opened the box,... I think it was cheese, couldn't tell because it was so overcooked and burnt .. On top of that it wasn't pan style. Weird thing happened today. Ordered online for pick up. I put my custom tip on the website and I was charged for the order and... tip. By the time I picked up the pizza, the receipt stated that I didn't put any tip and it was a different total amount. Thegirl on the counter thought I didn't leave any tip and she was implying that I didn't. I dont know if the company collects thetips and gives it to the crew, or maybe they dont reflect it to the store which is like stealing. Next time I would just tip instore not through online. After a very bad experience with the night shift manager, I just have to say the day manager Debbie gave us a very good... experience. Shes very nice helpful and kind. If you order pizza from elgin Pizza Hut do it during the day. Read more
The worst service that I ever had. We love Pizza Hut but not in Elgin. We ordered 2 custom pizza breadsticks fries and pasta,... price was $64 for delivery we gave $80 with the tip. The delivery guy forgot a custom pizza, and when I called them and talkedwith the night manager she was very mean and rude she told me we would get the pizza in another 40min after we already waited40min. And when I said I can?t wait because it?s for kids she says she didn?t care because she?s not a driver. Then she put myphone on hold and never picked up. The worst pizza I have ever had delivered it was cold the box was cover in grease and burned they remade my order and gave me... cinnamon buns for free that was under cooked the second pizza was perfect but my cheese bread burned again. The delivery guyfrom the first was rude and didn't even give me my first receipt the second delivery guy was nice but I had to stop him to askfor my receipt Not to mention I Iost 50 points because the website wont let me sign in so I had to go under a guest toorder Will never order from this location again if I go back at all. Do NOT waste your time and money. Placed an online order at 4:14. My pickup time was 4:35. I did not get my order until 5:05!!... One of my pizzas was made incorrectly so they needed ?5 more minutes? to fix it. I stood there waiting for well over 20 minutes.Meanwhile my other pizza had been done and was just sitting there the entire time. My replacement pizza wasn?t even pushed tothe head of the line, they just continued to make new orders before mine!! I complained.
