This is my 2nd time visiting this establishment. I generally patronize the one on Decker boulevard, as it's the restaurant I'm... used to. My 1st experience wasn't bad by any means. The food didn't taste like anything I was used to in comparison to the oneon decker. The 2nd time I went, it was completely empty.I went when they first opened. The service was great, the staff wasfriendly. The turn around time to receive my food was decent. Unfortunately the food wasn't great. The food came to me hot and tasty. I got an order of White Rice topped with Hunan Beef and a side of two eggrolls, to go. As I... was waiting for my food, I took a look at their picture book of the menu. That lead me to order an additional side of ShrimpFried Rice. When I got home and opened my meal there was enough for two and a half meals at least. And I spent less that$20.00 I will definitely go to this store again. Read more

The service was really good. Very nice people however I ordered the shrimp egg foo young. Never seen it served with brown sauce... instead of brown gravy. The brown gravy is what make the dish. Big disappointment! Those little baby wings. Poor things... Iguess they tried. There's better Chinese around. Read more

We stopped here to get dinner as we were traveling on I-20. The prices are good, the food was hot and tasted good. The portions... are large. I could've eat all of my teriyak beef and fried rice, but will save it for lunch tomorrow! Read more

Great service and absolutely delicious food! I made the mistake of getting takeout at a different place tonight, and all I could... think was, "Dang, Egg Roll Express is so much better!" Huge disappoint. The place is clean & the staff are courteous. They misleadingly list brown rice on the menu, but it's just... white rice soaked in brown sauce-isn't that illegal or something. Huge pieces of mushroom in the chicken broccoli, almost moremushroom than chicken. Never had any chinese place put mushrooms in that dish like that. Had no flavor, just salty. The shrimpfried rice was basically a container full of rice with about 6 tiny lil pieces of shrimp in it. People saying this is the bestChinese food must not get out much. Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants I?ve eaten at. I?m from out of town and wanted a good spot to have lunch at,... decided to try this place after reading the good reviews. I tried the moo goo gai pan with the fried rice, very flavorful and Idon?t feel weighed down after finishing up. Big portion of food, for $8 you can?t beat the large size and soup as well. Came here for the first time today and the food was just okay. The portions were very generous, and it was enough food for two... meals. Unfortunately, they seem to be going for quantity over quality. I ordered the general Tso's chicken dinner combo withpork fried rice and a chicken egg roll. The egg roll was was terrible. It was soft and chewy with ground chicken inside. Itlacked any flavor. The fried rice was fine, but it had no real flavor, it was just very oily. The pork was not the bbq pork youusually get in fried rice and it was very mushy. General Tso's chicken is not an authentic dish, but this wasn't made like anygeneral Tso's I've ever had. It was just orange chicken with crushed red pepper on it. It wasn't made with any hoisin or chilipeppers typically found in general Tso's. It tasted good, but it wasn't really what I wanted. The chicken was also too heavilybreaded. Overall, I would give other dishes a shot, but as of now everything was a bit underwhelming. Read more
