Scam, Rude. Its sad it used to be a great place now its worst customer service than Walmart Towards the beginning of Covid, I... had a extremely long wait (5 plus hours) to get two appetizers two meals and two desserts. The owner was under staffed - justhim and was having issues with the online ordering giving incorrect wait times. I had my work computer and passed the timelearning the history of the restaurant/ his dream. At the end he wanted to refund my order which I would not let him. Heinsisted, A LOT... I gave in on a gift card- he gave me a gift card for $75. I picked up food couple more times over the nextfew weeks , didn't seem right to use a gift card when he was clearly struggling to do what he loves. Fast forward to 2022, allnew staff - tells me that the gift card that has the stores name and has never been used, they will not honor. They were rude,didn't seem to care at all. Read more
The food is excellent. People are friendly. But the food is a bit pricey. You can rack up a bill pretty quickly. But all in... all it was good. Read more
The food was a 6. The service was a 10. The sauce was greasy(need a better sauce) and ordered two different dishes but they... looked the same enough the waiter got them mixed up setting them on the table. Had to fork thru them to see which was which, onelasagna and one trio sampler of pasta. (The menu has great choices and great selections too)The salad wasn't great as thelettuce was already turning brown(rust). Need more restaurants in the area but with quality food preparation. Owner is a wonderful man. Pleasant and informative. My meat Stromboli was perfect! The Alfredo sauce on my husband's pasta was... the best we have ever tasted. What a gem hidden in downtown Elgin. Their desserts hit the sweet tooth ???? Read more
The ambience was perfect for a family meal setting. The service was pretty good meeting all the standard expectations and there... was a friendly, welcoming vibe that felt inclusive. The food was fresh tasting and didnt take any longer than needed for hungrypeople. I would recommend stopping for a nice meal on a trip from Austin to Houston. Read more
Just visited the newly re-opened Luigi's of Elgin. With all new Chef and staff, the service was friendly and timely. I enjoyed... the food, although the sauce has changed and is a little spicy now. Wheel chair and stroller friendly. Great place to take thewhole family! Read more
We really enjoyed our drop in last minute visit to this cute family owned casual restaurant in Elgin! We had mozzarella sticks... and calamari as an appetizer, both were cooked well, seasoned nicely and the price was very reasonable! We had chickencacciatore, chicken Parmesan and noodles with vegetables and sauce. Oh and some fabulous complementary rolls soft pillowy andwarm! everything was fresh, the pasta was perfectly cooked al dente and our attentive, cute server Jolie was delightful! Note:the bathrooms were clean, the decor was simple. We will be back! Read more
