Looking for Colombian food in Newark and this restaurant had good reviews. I?ve never eaten Colombian food but figured they had... steak so we would give it a try. The restaurant was so cute inside and outside. It was busy but we were seated immediatelywhen we got there so didn?t have to wait. I didn?t know what to order so just pointed out a picture I saw on one of the reviewsand they said it was the ?Bandeja Paisa?. It was delicious and I feel In Love with Columbia?s food! It was my favorite meal!My family ordered steak and shrimp and loved it too! We also tried some appetizers and got a Pina Colada and my husband hatesthat drink but it made him try this one and he really liked it! I saw some bad reviews here but when I read them they didn?tseem like it was because of the food so I took a chance and LOVED it! Definitely try it. Decoration typical Colombian nice colors and paintings of their country which gives a nice ambience. We waited more or less 30... to 40 min but it was worthwhile. In order the churrasco Colombiano and Costilla soup with Salad add on avocado and sweet friedplantains. Our server was friendly attentive but did not offer to explained the menu or offer any suggestions or specialties. First time here and I loved the decor. It was crowded and we had to wait in line to get seated. Once seated Omggg I loved my... drink and Food. Our server was ever so sweet. Atmosphere is bomb! Food is bomb! Drinks are bomb. Portions are oversized and honestly under priced. Gratuity is already... calculated on check (~19%) but you can add to it when you sign. They also do charge you to use a debit/credit card so bringcash! Definitely will be back! Read more
