Hush puppies were burned, chips were ok, the fish filets were not that great. We had ordered a double to share and were missing... some filets. And if you order on the app, be sure to add an additional 15 min to wait time and check if you ordered a big mealalways check to see they didn't miss anything. The Chippery has really tasty comfort food. I'm a big fan of their fish and chips. This cozy location has some seats inside the... restaurant you can use when dining in, but I mostly always order takeout. If you're in the mood for some calamari or fried fishyou won't be disappointed. They also have their website you can order from beforehand if you want to skip the lines. Read more
This place was a pleasant little surprise! I love fish and chips and clams! The fish was deep fried but still moist. Noext time... I'm getting the double instead of the single piece! The clams were big and juicy and the seasoned potatoes were so plentifulthat I ate half and had the rest for breakfast with my eggs the next morning after a quick crisping in the oven. The owner wasvery welcoming. The place is tiny, so calling ahead and placing your order might be the way to go. I walked in but then waitedin my car while they cooked up my order fresh!! **I must first say the customer service at this chain is incredible. My original order from here was not so great abs they... immediately took every step to make sure I had a better experience the 2nd time around. Speaking with the manager chain Tim andthe staff at the Elizabeth location I am happy today at I?ll be coming back. I tried the fried fish and shrimp with cilantrosauce. Food was was fried perfectly and hot still when I got home and the seasoning was very delicious. Make sure you requestextra seasoning on your food if you?re used to bold flavor on fish like myself. order a 20-piece combo with 2 orders of fries. It has a total of $107+tax. Keep in mind they are super small and toppings are... counted and collected. the tray where they are served to you as well. I suppose. It's ridiculous some super small pieces. Itwill be the last time I shop there. I do not recommend it. Read more
