I think the crust could be a tad thicker, and they could put more toppings on, but overall the pizza was good.
We passed Van's so many times. My husband was in the mood for good pizza. We are from NY so good pizza is easy to find. We were... not disappointed. I got the Gluten-free pizza and Arcadian salad. My husband got the Hawaiian pizza. Oh my goodness. I couldhave eaten my whole pizza in one setting. It was even good the next day heated in the microwave. Brian was awesome. We will begoing back. Moving back to the area, going to Van's brings back memories of when I was a little girl. We always stopped here at least once... or twice a month. There's just something about Van's pizza crust that is special and some of his toppings just taste so muchbetter. Now, the wings are really, really tasty too. The Jamaican Jerk rub is quite unusual, but it's awesome. The Honey Garlicis delicious, but better on the boneless. They make a great appetizer before that delicious pizza! ???? ???? Read more
Came back to visit my hometown in May and got to try this place out for the first time. Very impressed with the food. Got the... Alfredo pasta meal along with a pepperoni pizza. Food was top notch; great portion sizes and tasted amazing. The batch of garlicknots was really good as well. If you want a fulfilling Italian meal in E City, this is the place to go! This is the most unsuspecting Italian place that I have ever been to! The outside and inside appearance let you know that you?re... going to have a good meal, but I ate a GREAT meal. The pricing is more than fair for the portions you receive (my pasta lastedfor two meals $12/2 = $6). I will be back the next time I am in the area! Read more
First time customer moved to area was recommended to try. Went at lunch time not overly crowded. We told waitress first time... customers place was recommended to try. Wraps were the daily special so we tried the Buffalo Chicken wrap Never again!! Alltortilla wrap, very dry, hardly any chicken meat or anything on inside. We even told the waitress to make extra saucy andspicy. Potato Chips on side were crumbs. Worst Buffalo Chicken wrap I have been served. Manager on duty did come out and offerto redo them. I want to start this by saying I come from a very small town. I tend to feel at home in restaurants like this. Last night my... husband and I stopped in for dinner on our visit to town. We were treated the worst either of us had been by our server. To befair, the other servers around us were lovely to their guests and we could see that. Ours, who appeared to be experienced staff,would not even refill our water when we were there 1.5 hours. We were behind a big order and so wound up waiting a while, whichwe understand. To have been told when our food was coming or to even be offered a refill of our beverage would have beenappreciated. We saw the people around us getting that. We know the server was not that busy because we could see her watching usthrough the glass window for much of the time we were seated. She was also giving out massages. We are not sure if it isbecause we have Canadian and a USA city accent, or what we looked like, or what happened. We were so confused by how negativelywere treated by the server. She had tattoos, grey hair, and glasses. Of all the places I have ever been, nobody has evertreated me as poorly as we were by her. She was not even hiding her disdain for us. We have no idea what we could have possiblydone to merit it. I have a service industry past. Being a polite and pleasant guest means a lot to me and is how I carrymyself. Especially as a visitor. I come from a small rural island overrun by tourists in the summer. I get how important it isto be a polite visitor. Read more
