Excellent service had to wait a little bit for the food

Walked in and was greeted promptly, seated with in minutes. Waiter took our food and drink order. No issues with the waiter... other than he wasn't very social, didn't have any food recommendations. After we ordered, it was about 15 minutes till ourorders came out. Our appetizer came out with our food. Chips were cold and the queso had a film on it like it had been sittingfor awhile. Salsa was good. The food presented well but everything tasted luke warm and salty. The shrimp and chicken was overlyseasoned to where you couldn't taste anything but the salty seasoning. The broccoli I think was roasted. The thicker parts ofthe stem was cold inside but the edge were warm. The chicken tenders were greasy. The french fries were strangely stuck togetherin clumps. Baked potato was good. The booth and table was clean, the waiter kept our drinks full and the atmosphere was good towhere we could have a conversation without yelling to be heard. Cheddar's has yet to disappoint me. I have been to several in many states. Prices have been great. A full rack of ribs in a... store cost about $15 right now. At Cheddar's it cost $21 with 2 sides; I am willing to pay this; they cook and clean the dishes.It's a win win. The croissants with drizzled honey butter before hand; I'm in ???? love. The team at Cheddar?s provided attentive service and included a welcoming visit from the manager. The blackened salmon was... seasoned very well and paired nicely with the rice pilaf, broccoli and mashed potatoes. As others have mentioned, the freshlybaked croissants are delicious. Read more

I love the food. Was told a 40 min. wait. It's Saturday that's fine. After an hour and 15 mins. I came inside and ask what was... going on. Was told the kitchen wanted everyone to wait.
