Had a good time visiting JR Neighbors. Thei restaurant is gorgeous. Service was very good however the food was pretty average.... My wife enjoyed a citrus bourbon drink from the bar and I had a limeade. Both were excellent. For an appetizer we had Thesmoked bologna sandwich, and it was very good although the wrapper was still on the bologna. The cod fish sandwich was aprocessed frozen fish patty, and the big texan burger was good. What would you expect for sandwiches & fries that cost $17?? Each sandwich was $17 and came with fries or tots. I felt the value was simply lacking for what we we were served. Read more

I had high expectations as I had heard that the brunch was really good. The atmosphere and decor are inviting. The restroom was... very clean. Both pluses. I ordered the chicken and waffles. The chicken was both temperature and spicy hot, albeit with aone-note of cayenne and not much else. The waffles were very crisp but cold. I expected just cooked waffles. My friend ordered aBenedict dish, and the eggs were more of a soft boiled consistency rather than poached. For the cost of the food, I expectedmuch better. Read more

We had burgers. They were delicious. But after a long week, we were really there for the drinks and they delivered. You have to... try The Elizabeth which is a smoked old fashion. Our 2nd one didn't smell so smokey. I think the bartender threw it togetherreally quickly. But the backyard mule was another yummy drink. Oh and the servers were amazing ????. Try the banana pudding. Youcan thank me later. Read more

My husband & I stopped in just as they opened and we?re not disappointed. We tried the deviled eggs appetizer - they were good.... I had a smash burger with mac & cheese. He (who also has Alpha Gal) tried the ?Notta? burger and seasoned fries. I enjoyed hisfries more than my mac - but loved my burger. He says his was tasty and he left full (which is rare). Our server, Cirra, wasexcellent. She made sure his allergies were known and took great care of us. Also - if you like sweet tea, theirs is wonderful! When we go back, I?m trying a salad. Read more

So far, probably the best, restaurant/bar I've experienced in Elizabethtown. It's not been around very long, less than a year in... town, but the food, service, and atmosphere are incredible! Whether going out to have a drink or lunch/dinner you just can't gowrong with J.R. Neighbors. It's located in the circle by the courthouse in downtown. So if you're out and about give it a try,I'm sure you'll love it! Read more

J.R. Neighbors was located in an older part of town that had a very cool vibe. Staff was very friendly. I had the "notta" burger... which had great flavor for being a non meat option. The sweet potato fries were delicious!! Ordered the banana pudding to takehome & it did not disappoint, had the homemade by your grandmother type feel. Great place for a relaxing atmosphere & greatfood. Read more

Interesting restaurant right on the square in Etown. They offer craft burgers with a few really unique meat choices and... toppings. I decided on the Hatch-it Buger which was not just an burger with an egg on it, but a nod to their history with CarrieNation. The Mrs had the Texas burger with Shredded brisket and an onion ring. The couple with us tried an appetizer of deviledeggs but they were not impressed with the texture or flavor on some of the eggs. They also had a chicken salad and a doublesmash burger. The restaurant does have a very nice bar with a large selection of bourbon, and a really nice draft beerselection. Read more
