The food and server were very good. A couple of issues kept this experience from getting 5 stars. We requested the large booth... in the front corner for 5 adults and 1 toddler. The hostess talked in a circle, then simply said we couldn't have it. Wethought it was possibly reserved, but no one used it the entire time we were there. Also, we like to receive a copy of ourcheck, have a chance to look it over, figure our tip, and get our money counted, since we frequently pay by cash; however, this'new device' our server said she had to use did not allow that. Fried pickles were very good. Pork was average, baked potato needed to be cooked a little more, baked apples still had the skin... on so could have been better. Read more
Great barbecue and delicious sides. Unique onion straws and their buttermilk pie is great with coffee.

Wow! Random day trip to Etown and we were hungry for BbQ. When asking the server Brian for suggestions he was helpful kind... friendly and informative. Everything was delicious. Ribs chicken brisket pork grilled corn red potato salad cornbread saladjust mouth watering. Manager came by to check on us, gave us a piece of buttermilk pie and a bottle of their original saucefor the road! Highly recommend if you are in Etown and hungry for bbq or burgers???????? oh gosh and the fried pickles howcould I forget? Perfect! Read more

I was pretty excited to try this place since moving to the area. When we arrived they weren't very busy and we were seated... immediately. The restaurant itself was clean and tidy, well decorated (it was around Halloween) and the staff was friendly andhelpful. We ordered the cornbread appetizer and it tasted great but was very very dry. The entrees look like there isn't muchfood for the price, but it's just an illusion. We got the briskett platter and pulled pork platter, and the meat comes in theselittle paper bowls that make it look like there isn't much in there. If you dump it out, you'll see there is plenty. The mac andcheese was good but almost too cheesy, and the fries are delish. I love that they have the bbq sauce at the table so you don'thave to ask, and they also have a whole roll of paper towels on the table which is awesome when dealing with messy foods andkids. The kids burger was a bit dry and underwhelming. All in all, this place was good and we'd come back again. Read more
Overall experience was very good! The waiter was very patient while we ordered drinks (Yes, this location does sell alcohol) and... then took our order and gave us updates on when we should expect our food. The brisket was tender and not dry at all, and thecoleslaw was a classic. I?m still wondering what made the fries ?spicy? but it was still a good experience and good. Read more
