They missed up my order and told me to come back so they could fix it. I come back and the so called owner told me they never... had an order for $16.87. She was rude and so was her staff. No sense in going back in forth with them. Now I see why they don?tdo anything right. They are not trained properly at all! This use to be a great place to eat. Not any more!! Read more

Dinning in with 3 for dinner and lunch. The staff were quick and and some quite friendly. The restaurant was clean during my... visits even while busy. The food I found to be better then typical fast food restaurants and more filling. The prices were onpar for the type of food and dining. Read more

Didn't eat here but went in and used the bathroom. there wasn't none in there. The tables needed to be clean one had a fry on... it. And the floors needed cleaned in the restaurant and the bathroom. There was flys in the bathroom. Read more

They have absolutely ruined Steak N Shake with the whole kiosk ordering thing. Put people back working. That was all part of the... experience of coming to your Establishment. And with no one running around in the dining area. The floors are not clean. Youknow this is true when you come to the front door and see the dirt advancing outside the main door onto the concrete itself. Read more

I was worried after reading these reviews - so I had to offer a counter comment! I?ve lived out of state for 25 years but... whenever I visit my family here, going to Steak ?n Shake with my mom is a favorite little tradition. I just had lunch with mymom and my own daughter - and while a few things have changed, Steak ?n Shake is still a gem in the world of fast food. Yes,there are kiosks now where you used to order from a cashier. Thanks to the reviews, I knew to expect this - so it wasn?t jarringand it made a lot of sense because of COVID measures and likely because of what are now well-known hiring challenges throughoutthe restaurant biz. Anyway, the kiosks are user-friendly and we didn?t have any trouble ordering our cheeseburgers, fries, and achocolate shake. The food at S ?n S has always been made to order - so, you?re going to wait a bit longer than say, McDonald?s.But it?s totally worth the extra time - everything was fresh, well-prepared, and presented in the classic red food baskets. Thechocolate shake took a few extra minutes and was served the classic way - in a tall, old-fashioned glass complete with whippedcream, cherry on top, and a generously-sized striped (paper) straw. Everything was delicious. I?d even gotten lettuce on myburger and it was fresh and crisp. Totally great experience! Don?t hesitate to indulge yourself - Steak ?n Shake stilldelivers!! Read more

What a disaster. Ordered for 3 adults & 2 kids from the kiosk. Waited about 25 minutes to get our order. There were so many... things wrong!! Chilli had no cheese, burger didn't have bacon, given a small shake, should have been large, fries were undercooked, onion rings were cold and the manager was unprofessional. We described all the things wrong with our order, the managergave us a small bowl of cheese and a small bowl of bacon with a message of "sorry for the inconvenience". The floor wasslippery, the wall separating our booth from the one next to us had greasy handprints, the bathroom was gross. We hadn't been toa Steak & Shake in years. Slow and disorganized. Placed an order on the app for curbside pickup. Showed up when order was supposed to be ready. Waited 5... minutes and nobody came out. Called the number on the curbside sign, nobody answered. Went inside and nobody was at the frontcounter because it's an order kiosk. Took another 5 minutes before an employee asked what I needed. Finally got my food 30minutes after the order was placed after app said "11-16 minutes". Read more
