The best BBQ I've had. I was staying at the hotel right by here and passed it on my way in. Thought it sounded great but being... so close to a hotel I'm always suspicious because you know places like these pop up to cater to (read scam) tourists. Happy tosay this was the opposite. The "award-winning" ribs were delicious! I couldn't get enough of my sides. And the steak was cookedto perfection. The portions were big enough to take some home (half a steak, 2 ribs, and a few bits of each side) and the wholething was just over $20. Are you kidding?! There was a long wait due to staffing, seemed to be only 1 girl running the entirefront of house for a while, then there were 2 either one was in break or just started a shift...but it was WELL worth thewait. My only negative is I believe I was supposed to get dinner rolls and they were never offered or stopped off (and I didn'torder any apps) so I was a bit disappointed because they mentioned then being hand-made in the menu making me expect somethingdelicious like the Roadhouse honey butter rolls. Enjoyed Texas Outlaw at the Ribfest. The ribs were seasoned well, the sauce was good and it was very tender. Loved the option of... adding my own extra sauce after receiving my order. 4 stars because the ribs taste like they were boiled and then put on thegrill. Read more
On our way heading back up to Indiana and decided to give this place a try. We got the steak combo, one with ribs and other... with shrimp. We got our food in a timely matter and everything tasted good. The waitress was also really friendly and madesure we were taking care of. Definitely glad we stopped and will again if we?re close by. Although short staffed (delays for service), our waitstaff (Wilma) was wonderful and catered to us. She didn't let the... circumstances spoil her awesome personality. That said, the food was great! Will make a future trip back here. There's areason why it's the #1 BBQ! Read more

My fiance and I wanted to go to Texas Roadhouse, but that place was busy so we decided to come here instead. And it was honestly... pretty good. I ordered the ribs and grilled chicken while my fiance ordered the Outlaw Burger. The photo is a potato appetizerwe had which we got since they were out of Blooming Onion. The reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is because they seemed tobe out of a lot of stuff (Blooming onion, mashed potatoes, salmon burger, pretty much a lot of stuff we wanted) and the factthat they seem to be short staffed a lot (which is admittedly not much of their fault in this economy). We are new to the area and figured we would try this out. Our family of 4 went in on a Sunday evening for dinner, even though... the sign at the front door said ?please be patient we are very short staffed? we had a great experience!
