The cashier on the ice cream side is racist and mean. Do not expect to be served if you are not white.

Decent prices
Rolled in after a 3.5 hour drive on Christmas eve. I needed milk for coffee, tonic water, and a couple of other things. The... place was jammed, but the staff (wearing reindeer hats) were cheerful and friendly, and offered holiday greetings to all thatcame. My two pints of milk and three bottles of tonic water added up to $2.50. I commented "Wow, that's a fair deal." The youngwoman behind the counter said. "If you need more, I'll help you fill your car up!" I like this place, and the one a bit south inPort Henry as well as the one up at Rouse's Point. The gas prices are fair, the toilets are clean, and the staff are cheerful.Their house coffee is a decent blend at a good price. For chain-store pizza, you could do much worse for the price. As aStewart's is likely the only place open at night in the northcountry, it's nice to know that you can grab a drink and a snackfor a reasonable price. Read more
