My family is quite picky when comes to resturants in general while living the military life style moving place to place. This... maybe one of the better pizza places in the area. I used to like this place but tonight was so crazy I?m speechless. I ordered the Shrimp Penne with Pink Vodka Sauce, and... Mozzarella Sticks. I tried to order Caprese but they didn?t have any so I ordered broccoli bites. Went to pick it up, they hadus pay then handed us the bag and as we were driving away I noticed the broccoli bites and my bread were not there. We went backand they told us we were out and seemed surprised that we?d ask for a refund for the $8 of food we didn?t get. He came back asecond later and said he refunded it. I asked how because we paid in cash and they never handed us the money back. He then givesme my refund(without the tax). I ask him where my bread is and I kid you not he looked me dead in the face and said he?s out ofbread? My salad came without dressing. You?ve guys have had soo many years to fix it and you havent. Also the CHILD working thecounter couldn?t of been older than 13. This was literally the worst experience at a restaurant I?ve ever had. $17 for thebreadless, salad dressing less pasta and the container wasn?t even half way full. It?s crazy. Read more
This review comes after months of incorrect orders. There has not been an order my family and I have made from this restaurant... without errors. We like to support local, small businesses so we continued to order from Sal's, but now we are done. I ordereda Buffalo chicken sub with "crispy" chicken. I even made a point to say "crispy chicken, not grilled," because they have messedthis order up for me in the past. I made sure to order this sub first so it would be put in correctly as well. So afterrequesting crispy chicken twice, and verifying with the person taking my order, I received grilled chicken in my sub. Of note,everything else we ordered was as is on the menu; this was the only "special" order that was requested. So being slightlyannoyed, I called the restaurant to tell them of this. I wouldn't normally do something like this, but as I said before, thisincident follows months of other incorrect orders. I was told, "Next time you order, say breaded chicken instead." I was notoffered to be made a new sandwich or any form of service recovery in anyway. I asked the girl on the phone what can be doneabout this, and her only response to me was to order it differently the next time. I told her there would be no next time, innot so many words. This is also the same person who told me that I couldn't order a BLT sub because they didn't sell them there,which was a blatant lie. I would not recommend Sal's at this point unless they make drastic changes to their customer serviceand start making orders right for their customers. We had to stop and try Sal's. The outside of the building is gorgeous. I ordered a cheese steak Stromboli and wife ordered a... chicken wrap. Both were delicious. I highly recommend stopping In and trying Sal's! Read more
