PLEASE BE CAREFUL! Last Thursday, my sister went to Mango Crazy in the Elk Grove location (Bond Rd) and ordered a pina colada... smoothie. Thinking it was pineapple seeds, she accidentally swallowed sharp plastic parts from a broken blender from the store.There were A LOT of them and drank about halfway before realizing it was plastic due to the sharp nature of them. Due to thisincident, she had to be taken to the ER that same night (05/20/21). At the ER, she had done X-rays, CT scans, and an endoscopyto make sure that these plastic parts had not been stuck in or damaged her digestive system. When speaking to the owner of thestore, he seemed to not take it seriously and merely brushed it aside. He never contacted us first when he said he wouldcall/text us, he never did. First time here but we had heard from family that live in Modesto that these places have good snacks so we decide to try it.... Location is small and almost hidden, but it?s right next to Paesanos restaurant, you might miss it if you blink. The staff werefriendly, and place looked clean. We ordered a couple fruit cups, a Pina Loka, agua fresca, and chamoy gummy bears. You cansample the aguas frescas before ordering. The Pina Loka and was delish, great portions.
