Mel Dogs is one of our Favorite local restaurants to eat at. It's a warm, comfy, country style diner that serves breakfasts and... lunches. Open Mon-Sat and closes earlier in the day. There is a good size parking lot in front of the restaurant that is sharedby a few businesses. The food is yummy, lots of American Diner classics. I especially like their french toast. There is someveggie options, it is a medium size place and all service is to tables-no booths. There are times it can get busy, they have asmall waiting area and clients are responsible to put their names and number of their party on a list. The service is friendlyand very good. They have placards on the ceiling advertising some of our local business's. I believe you'll make Mel Dogs aregular stop! Read more
Not a pleasant experience or should I say experiences. The staff talk bad about customers and tell other customers about it. God... forbid you order an item on the menu (a milkshake for example) because they will complain and make sure you feel uncomfortableabout what you order and even go as far as telling the customer ?they forgot to order it?. Such a shame, I would have loved tosupport a small local business. Read more

Good food, service, & prices. Had to wait 10 mins for table. On w/e morning. Was visiting friend and would go back, for sure.
Couldn?t tell you what the food was like because I never got to a table. I stood inside the door near the big sign that said... ?wait to be seated? but after I spent 10 minutes waiting, still not one server even so much as looked toward the door. Thenanother couple came in?. And then another as well. Here we are, all standing here waiting, and being ignored. That was when thegentleman from the 3rd group to walk in notices a sign in sheet and added his name to it, never mentioning it to the rest of usobliviously awaiting customers in line ahead of him. ((By the way, when have you ever seen a restaurant with a sign in sheet forseating??)) When one member of their staff finally noticed half a dozen people standing there, still zero acknowledgement. Ialways try to find new local businesses to support and I had plenty of time to sit and enjoy this place but instead, left tofind someplace that actually wanted my money (that?s a whole other story) and ended up late to my next appointment due to the 25minutes I wasted here. Cute little local place. Small staff, but they were on it. I had placed a larger order a couple days in advance, then had... breakfast at the time of pick up. The food was good, and the kiddos (20) were really impressed with their breakfast sandwiches. Read more
You never know there was a great breakfast in this area. Nothing around in this parking area but this little gem. Definition... of a wholesome breakfast diner. The staff is friendly, portions are generous and food that just hits the spot. Rather on thesmall side and the wait can be long on weekends so get in early. If you're in a hurry please skip, this is a place to relax andenjoy the company of others over breakfast. Looks like an old school small kitchen as well so patience is needed. When thepancakes come out bigger than your face you know it's going to be good. Read more
