Great 5 star restaurant with incredible venue and events. Located in Wilton. Live bands, dancing, bar and local wine tasting.... Free entry for live music. Mixed ages. Mostly an older crowd but def. Mixed. Great venue for a single guy as there were a lot ofwomen it seemed. Casual chic attire. Dress and heel venue with a more beachy feel. Great lil secret. And the venue is absolutelyamazing. Been a patron of this restaurant for years. The current owner and staff have high commitment to quality of food and service.... Love the bar which has a high selection of top shelf whiskey. This restaurant was great tonight. I loved the ambience and the dining was fantastic. Hostess was very accepting to our request... to side table because my wife and i wanted a bit of privacy for our anniversary. We even got a little surprise in the menu. Foodwas delightful and prompt. I hate to admit but we err'd in ordering since the restaurant expected us to have a full course mealbut we didnt want any appetizers and skipped to the main course instead. As we were waiting for our food, the bread and butterwas served cold. But great sour taste. The soup came out next. Delicious tomato bisque. I'd come back just for this soup. Servedwarm. Then the main course. Steak was served warm and medium. The gravy was great. It complimented the steak, mash potatoes, andgreen beans. Mash potatoes had a fluffy texture. Green beans had a great garlic and salty taste. Food was great. Wife had theranch crusted stuffed apples pork chop with green beans and mash potatoes. The apple pork wasnt to our taste but it had adelightful sweet taste. Note: The sous waitor, was great btw. Sous waitor made sure we were ok and got us refills fordays. Reason why this place lost stars: As we walked in, hostess had this really bewildered look as to why we were there. Oncewe explained we had reservations, she became nicer. As we settled down, our waitor came out to greet us. Very nice. Asked uswhat we would like to drink. We didnt know yet so he left us alone for a bit. After he came back, we ordered 2 adkin familywine. Tasty! After we received the wine, we decided to order since we arent too big on appetizers. We ordered our dishes and thewaitor left. I called around 5pm yesterday to try to get a reservation and was able to book an 8:30pm. My date and I were seated at a nice... low table at the bar area and our server shared the menus promptly. We got a bottle of wine with our food and enjoyed theatmosphere. It was the valentines menu that I enjoyed and my cheesecake desert was delicious. The prawns and scallops weresomewhat over seasoned and my date wanted a local beer but was served an 805. That is my only negative remark. The establishmentis refined, intimate, and steak was absolutely delicious. We ordered it medium as the bone kept it from cooking too much. ???? I GOTTA GIVE 5 STARS TO OUR SERVER MIA!!! She made the dinner fun amazing and the main reason we would go back!!!! Downstairs... is more of a traditional look. Up stairs is more of a modern look very open comfortable and clean!!!! The food was good!!Nothing out of the ordinary except for the fried lemon wedges those are something I’ve never tasted before and man where theydelish!!!!! If you like lemons you will love those!!!! Amazing dinner with my husband on his birthday. Our server was very attentive and our dinner was excellent. They added some nice... touches like adding a Happy Birthday to his menu and bringing out his dessert with a small candle. We will be back. Read more
