The only thing big about big Sammy's is the price. Cist is through the roof borderline ripp off. Portions definitely are not as... tasty and small. Friendly environment and clean. Got the 2 dog special. The dog tasted fine. Though it is missing the Chicago traditional... poppyseed bun and celery salt . Fries are nothing great just okay. I would skip the fries and save a few bucks. Read more

This place is a real treat. Went there yesterday looking for a local Chicago restaurant. Found this gem and glad I dined in. Got... me a full meal with drinks, fries and 3 meat stack burger for about $16. Meat was cooked to perfection and greasy as heck. Ilove it. Fat fries and cooked to a point where it isn?t crunchy nor is it soggy. Just right. The front desk guy knew what torecommend and would definitely come back again. Very happy with the experience. Great food and service. Freshly made to order. Traditional gyro meat on a spit. My granddaughter had the chicken fingers and... my husband had the cod platter. The helpings were large and delicious. The cost was about ten dollars per person which is agood value, in my opinion. Next time we come to Chicago we will definitely be coming back here. Read more
