Went there with my wife based on a recommendation from a Traverse City local. Wow, I cannot be more glad we checked it out!... Never been to New Orleans, but this was the best Cajun food I've had so far. Tried a couple of dishes, including jambalaya, gumbo, crawfish & corn chowder, blackened alligator, and hush puppies. The standouts were definitely the soups, but everythingwas delicious. Great, friendly staff. I'll be recommending this to anyone coming up here. Read more

The food was delicious ???? Louisiana shrimp boil, the sauce was fantastic!! The service was great! I would have given 5 stars... but, I prefer deveined shrimp and so I had to do this while eating. Would come again and try other items, when in the area! Read more

So my wife's meal was great. My jambalaya was tasteless but the waitress was amazing and comped it. I will go back again for the... service alone. The bourbon flight was great. Read more

I had Blackened Catfish smothered in crawfish tails and my gorgeous Wife had bronzed Chicken Alfredo... Both dishes beautifully... served in healthy portions. My catfish was the best I've ever had! The atmosphere was fun and the server was great. We willreturn without question! Read more

Extremely slow service, especially for a slow night. Brought a real ragin Cajun with me. Her shrimp and grits were not... traditional and was more soup then dish. My jambalaya tasted ok but was really lacking in flavor. Our side of rice was sosmokey it tasted like the chef dropped a bottle of liquid smoke in the batch. The gator bites were amazing..as a chef I wouldguess they weren't tasting what they sent out since I know what they are capable of. Read more

Amazing food!! Full of flavor and so expertly made. Everything we ate was simply delicious. The beignet were a bit more dense... than what I believe a typical beignet is, but it was still any enjoyable dessert. We would definitely return the next time weare in the area. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Read more
