Great place for sushi. I've heard many race reviews and didn't disappoint. If looking for good sushi this is the place.

Elk River is fortunate to have this unique ethnic food restaurant in town. The lunch specials are exceptional with a good... selection of Japanese dishes that all include fresh sushi and a good price. I have had lunch five times at Hajime. Many havestated that the sushi rolls are the best. I have to agree because my wife and I took home a selection of sushi and our familyloved it. Read more

We love Hajime. This is both my kids favorite place to eat. The staff is super friendly and it is always clean. Fish is always... good and fresh. We try and get a little bit of everything and something new. Read more

Yeah, this is good, really good! Not one thing to complain about. As good as any other sushi place I've been to.

We eat here at least 1x a week. The sushi rolls are INCREDIBLE. The prices are great, happy hour food specials are great, and we... always receive excellent service from our server, Abby. The lunch menu has great specials too. We love Hajime! Read more

After having really good experience at the Blaine location, I figured this spot has to be the same. Sadly, it wasn't. I think... the service was a direct reflection of being short staffed because no one was running the bar. Our server asked us to finishour beer and wine so she could pour our refills in the same glass. Not only tacky, but... I wasn't ready to finish it, it wouldhave been nice to have the last few sips to enjoy with my food instead of being without while I waited. That really rubbed methe wrong way. The sushi was good but definitely rice heavy and, on nigiri, that super packed dense rice just isn't necessary. We cut half the rice off to enjoy with the bite and it was almost still too much. I'd rather pay the same price for a smallerball of rice (or looser packed) just from a proportion point of view. Read more
